  1. I get that statement all the time. CW
  2. Hey, that was my neighborhood! *sigh* CW
  3. Photoshop doesn't work as well on a PC? CW
  4. I would've settled for them talking about the Super Bowl champs... It was THAT bad. CW
  5. I don't have a problem with Williams as the third down back. My main beef is when it's 3rd and 2, and we lineup in shotgun formation (with or without a RB). I hate that, as we rarely run the ball in shotgun. 3rd and 6, fine, but 3rd and short shouldn't be shotgun formation in my mind. CW
  6. Well to be fair, they really DIDN'T talk about the Pats very much - only Tedy. Tedy != Patriots. CW
  7. $30 is EXTREMELY low for any peice of framed art. Heck, the mat/frame alone probably costs $30. You could probably ask the gallery what they think a decent price would be since you're not familiar with it. But I can guarantee it's more than $30 -- that's how much crappy WalMart prints cost. Nice pictures -- I just bought a DSLR camera (won't get it until mid-Nov ) because I want to play with photography - I now know someone else here to bother with questions CW
  8. So Dallas is going to take his team to the playoffs in arguably the most difficult division in the NFL? With two backup tackles and a backup runningback? Apparantly he's not as bad as some have said in the past. CW
  9. Collins, Johnson, Flutie, Van Pelt. You think? Ok, with Collins, maybe it was the QB... CW
  10. You actually think you control the team, even 0.0000000000001% ?!?!?!?!?! Delusions of grandeur at their finest. Thanks for the laugh. Sorry it was at your expense. CW
  11. Agreed. I just wish that for once we could play only the Patriots and lose 100% of our own accord instead of 95% of our own accord and 5% of the refs accord, you know? CW
  12. I think you were the only one who thought it was a catch... Even dumb, dumber, and dumbest thought it was incomplete. The Pats must've thought the same thing, since they rushed up to the line to try getting another play off right away. I'm actually more upset about the missed clip (10 or 15 yard penalty, I can't remember) that was missed two or three plays later. When a player stands up and says, "What the hell, ref?!" (because he was clipped right in front of the ref), you know it's a blatant miss. CW
  13. I didn't quite understand early in the agme, we had run 11 plays, and it said that Tedy had 12 hits and 4 tackles. How were they defining "hits" last night?! CW
  14. Again, I didn't say the refs were out to fix the game every week. I said that all calls seem to go in favor of the Patriots. How can you dispute the replay of the "catch" that setup the beginning of the Pats comeback? Or the "missed" block in the back on #92 (right in front of the official I might add). Or the PI call against Moulds? When (aside from the game against the Pats in '98) can you remember such a lame call at the end of a game? If the Bills had scored more points in the first three quarters, it wouldn't have mattered. However in a close game, the Pats always seem to get the calls whether intentional or not. CW
  15. We know that. They're out to help the Patriots. There's a big difference. Notice I didn't say, "Let the Patriots win," or anything like that. But all of the big calls in the 4th quarter went against the Bills, and even the one-sided announcing crew seemed dumbfounded on both the reception and the Moulds PI call. Of course they didn't catch the block in the back on #92, just like the refs missed it... CW
  16. Umm...
  17. I don't know, havn't paid that much attention.... The RBs are getting some catches though -- two for Baber (go Gophers!) yesterday, two by the RBs the week before, two more the week before that. Not sure if those were screens or not, but it's definately a dumpoff. CW
  18. Buffalo always gets massacred on nationally televised games, all the way back to the Kelly days. I still don't understand how we held the Pats in check most of the game, and that's what gives me a sliver of hope for the rest of the season. It's a very small sliver, mind you, but a sliver nonetheless. CW
  19. Have you watched any Dallas games this year? Bledsoe is hitting screen passes like they're going out of style. I think there was a different problem in the past few years regarding screen passes here. Not sure what it was, since we're hitting them this year, but it doesn't look like it was the QB. CW
  20. I tried that -- in the pick'm league I'm in, I picked the Pats as my big game. So not only did we lose, but I didn't get the points for picking the game either. CW
  21. It was actually a good call, if Reed would've caught it... The DB jumped at the ball, missed, and it hit Reed in the hands. CW
  22. You didn't watch the Bills/Pats game in '98 where Henry Jones drew the PI call in the endzone? You know, the one that Tagliabue came out and said was a terrible call that should never have been made, especially not in a close game? The one where he said the refs should never determine the outcome of the game, the players should? What do those two instances have in common? CW
  23. I guess I'm on the fast train; I went through grief last night between the end of the game and going to bed CW
  24. No way in hell would it get that much coverage. According to doctors, it wasn't really that big a deal. Compare that to WM coming back from his injury; announcers occasionally mention it, but they've never spent an entire broadcast (plus pregame show) talking about it. CW
  25. What's worse? Trying to be optimistic, or wasting your time watching a team (and posting on a message board) for a team that you know has no future? CW
