Beating Green Bay at home and then losing the following week to the 3-13 Raiders still makes me curse Coach Marrone to this day.

We have a terrific field goal kicker we hate to use
reddogblitz replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Amen on 1. The second is one of my pet peeves of football. Its 3rd and long around the 30-35. Like clockwork, the D blitzes heavily and the O sends their QB on a 5 step drop. QB gets sacked and team is out of FG range. Send out the punt team. its amazing how often this happens. Just get a few yards and let Money do his thing. Points is points. -
Once a Marine always a Marine. Ooh-rah. Happy Birthday next week!

Amen. Anyone see what happened to Darnold yesterday on one of those designed runs? -

If we get to the SB...any fear of Tampa Bay?
reddogblitz replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
And on their home opener Tommy was allowed to throw the ball away with no receivers in the area and then on the following play the Bucs WR was able to blatantly push off with no flag setting up the game winner FG. If we get to SB I hope its not against them. Not because I'm afraid of Arians or their D or even Tommy on the field. Its all the other stuff that comes with it like help from the refs and any cheating Tommy may will do. Also add in how the NFL is executing a save Tom Brady's lying cheating image so fans won't complain too much when they put him in the hall. -
Critical Race Theory
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Ah, the ole if you ask me a serious question about something I say you must be in a cult routine again. If this has nothing to do with MLK why did you bring him up? You brought him up, not me. Any idea why you can hear secret racist messages and understand their meaning? Only dogs can hear a dog whistle. -
Critical Race Theory
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Here's something about the "dog whistle" that I can never figure out. If the message is "a secretly racist message for their secretly racist supporters", how do people that aren't secret racists understand that is indeed racist? I mean its secretly racist, right? Or, maybe they should re evaluate cuz it sounds like they may be secret racists too? Like maybe you. You can hear it. Only a dog hears a dog whistle. It also amazes me that the man who worked diligently towards ending racism, red lining, segregation, separate but equal, etc, who we have a national holiday in his honor, and built a monument on the mall so we never forget his message, is now a " racist dog whistle.". Good job. Carry on. -
Debt Ceiling Nonsense
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I laughed when I heard this because it is all so predictable. Finally at the last minute they reach a deal or whatever to keep the money flowing for another 2 months. In a month and a half there will be much hand wringing and doomsday predictions and the donkey team blaming the elephant team and vice versa until at the last minute a deal will be reached. There's an election in 13 months and this makes for good fund raising. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

Would it be ok for your 16 year old to get the vaccine to protect 70 year olds who did take of themselves? -
I like it.

You make some good points. Of course other organizations have pedophiles and have covered it up. Add Penn State to the list. But we were talking Catholic Church here until you widened the scope for some reason. Even if true shouldn't let the RC off the hook or lessen the disgust. Its just that the RC has so darn many. 200,000 in 70 years according to the @Tiberiusarticle. That's 3,000 per year in France. Not a large country. I'm glad you didn't run into any. Neither did I or my 3 brothers that also went to Jesuit. I thought the priests were swell guys too. One priest that got busted and thrown out of the priesthood I had close contact with in classes and extra circular activites. As a senior he was my piano acompnamist for my Marimba solo. We practiced together and for the District contest across town I drove him and my Marimba in my Mom's Suburban. I thought he was a great guy. I thank my lucky stars I was not his type. As far as the priests you knew, you might want to check the list: https://projects.propublica.org/credibly-accused/

First off, I can find ZERO reason to discuss the political party parishioners belong to. Especially since the same thing has happened in other countries like Germany and France that don't have Republicans or Democrats. Other people do it too so its not so bad? I would say the primary difference is when it happens in public school, the teacher gets suspended and charged in criminal court. In the RC, offenders just get sent to another parish or school to repeat the cycle. If Pope Francis is so concerned about the victims, why doesn't he sell off some of their wealth of assets and help the victims with counseling and sustenance? I'm sure he could sell off Notre Dame University for example and use all that money to help the victims. Instead, they fight it in court. I was raised in a Catholic family and went to Catholic grade school and high school. At Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, 4 of the priests that were there when I was going there have been busted for p e d o p h i l i a. There were probably 25- 40 priests there tops. One of them was the principal for 40 years. I never liked being too close to him cuz he gave me the creeps. I guess I was blessed with good pediophile-dar.

We Are Going To Be Super Bowl Champions
reddogblitz replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets not yet ahead of ourselves. Just beat Houston. That's all that matters now. That said, the table is set. We got a really good QB, a stable of quality WRs, a smart coaching staff, a money kicker, and a really good D. We just need to execute. -
I had big problems with them in August. Two weeks before my wife's birthday I ordered her a Schnowman jersey and a pair of Billy Buffalo socks. I even paid $3 extra to get it shipped earlier to be safe. As someone mentioned I got an email without a tracking number a few days later. 5 days before her birthday I called the number on the website and the woman who answered said it was NOT The Bills Store but some company that sells hockey stuff. I paniced and ordered an Edmunds jersey from Dick's Sporting Goods which did come in time. About a week after her birthday the socks arrived. About a week after that, the jersey arrived. Never again.

Bucs at Patriots - How to Process this Game
reddogblitz replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we make the Super Bowl I really don't want it to be against them. If it is the refs will help Tommy like they did last year and we won't stand a chance. Protect the shield.
