Justin Herbert - fractured rib cartilage, day to day
reddogblitz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope for Justin and the Chargers he didn't make it worse after the coach left him in to take a few more hits after he was obviously injured. Coach Staley does make interesting decisions. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I too think this will back fire on Republicans. It's a bad look. Bussing or flying hapless immigrants to Yankee states and dropping them off. Then throw in they are using these people as pawns and the whole thing sounds gross. This is how the Republicans are going to blow this. August's inflation rate was over 8%. Interest rates are going up. The stock market tanked. They should be shouting this from the roof tops, but instead they are flying immigrants to Vice President Harris' house. IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID -
DeSantis For President in 2024?

Maybe you aren't old enough to remember, but I'm thinking Carter and Mondale was worse. -
Raising the minimum wage by $7 per hour will result in higher prices. If you cost of doing bidness goes up, you have to raise prices. Also will result in more automation. I went to Taco Bell the other night and there was nobody behind the counter to take my order, I HAD to use the kiosk bot. Look for more of this. Will result in less people working. As far as tax cuts, the Democrats have the power and could end it if they wanted to.

He's still mad because he lost Celebrity Apprentice to Leeza Gibbons. He's never gotten over that. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?

How is this gonna work? A Republican will wrap up the nomination in late April. At which point President Biden will have wrapped up his too Then if its not Trump, he'll drop out? I can't seed that happening, but Ok. Who will run for Democrats now? Primaries are over. -
Are we being purposely divided?

Neither do the Democrats. -

And Stacey Abrams. -
Amen.
-
Agreed. Since these are government owned loans why can't they lower the interest rate to 1% or heck, even 0%? Would help a lot of people AND be more cost effective.

"Protest is Patriotic" Does that apply to 1/6 too? -
Instead of paying those loans off why can't the government encourage this behavior like they do others? Tax breaks, gifts like this loan payoff thing, but to 2 parent families etc. Would probably be much more cost effective too. However, I do remember when the Republicans tried to do it in the 80s/90s with the family values thing and got laughed out of the country. Your last paragraph is what's going on IMHO. Biden buying votes, nothing more.

Magnum Opus Hymn to the Atman Please do. Let me know what you think.

I always like Magnum Opus and Incomudo - Hymn to the Atman better. Now that's KANSAS.

Just curious. Why not spell it CQnald? Never should have come to that. Play a little D in the last :13 and the coin flip would have never happened. We have only ourselves to blame.

The most memorable moment to me was near the end of the last one. Trump asked him why they didn't accomplish more in Biden's second term. Then candidate Biden said they couldn't cuz those mean ole waskally wepublicans wouldn't let him. Couldn't work with them. Very prophetic as to where are find ourselves today. AND he's got a majority in both houses.
-
That may be true. Its just that the article you referenced didn't say what you said it did. The subject was what I quoted which has NOTHING to do with getting rid of SS. The article you just added says he is but offers no proof. The articles linked in there went to Wisconsin pay wall.

This is literally your excuse for anything President Biden does.

I know you're not middle aged so you don't remember and maybe they didn't teach it in history class in grammar school, so please do a DuckDuckGo search for "Keating Five".

Its all politics. Just like the speech and loan forgiveness which all just to happen 2 months before the election coincidently.. How many poor starving people with college loans did you foster? This just a dumb argument. Because a person does not like abortion they must raise other's kids. Nice logic there. If you didn't take out a college loan then or have paid it off according to you you should be helping pay their debt. Dumb but looks great on a bumper sticker.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Whataboutism Trump hasn't been President for 668 days I read somewhere. He's whining about losing and you're just whining.

Don't forget ballot box 13 which was mysteriously "found" 4 days after the polls closed in 1948. https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/?date=19980823&slug=276808

President Biden DID run on unifying the country though. His platform.. Ole Unity Joe was going end all this division,or so he said. Looks to me like he's trying to divide it up even more cuz there's an election coming up. A co incidence this speech was done 2 months before the election? Or things got suddenly worse? I think not. This was an out and out campaign speech on the people's coin.
