Not blitzing Brady never works. -

Put in a few trick plays. They'd probably work because we don't do many, if any. -
I'm not sure what you're saying, but presently the Bills have the 4th best record in the AFC. Patsies** 9-2 stealers 9-2 Jacksonville 7-4 Titans 7-4 That's it, there are no other AFC teams with a better record. 9 have worse records. I really don't care about some goofy QB ranking. Give me the Ws. We're .539 with Hotrod with a bad defense most of the time. When the D has played well this year we're .750. We're close. Let's try to fix up that D and win this thing.

Cash in that Golden Ticket and sit back and watch the Lombardis start rolling in.

Should we take a look at other QB flyers?
reddogblitz replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For next year yeah. I kind of like the idea of getting a QB that did well in college. Won a lot of games. Was a high prospect, but has been riding the pine behind a good QB for a few years. Pretty much what we got with Hotrod. Was a backup behind Joe, and came here and was ready to start. Let them be developed on someone else's dime that knows more about it than we do. Names I like this year include AJ McCarron and Aaron Murray. If you can't sign them, trade if you have to. -
Actually, I checked my work and it's really .539. So you only rounded down .4% I factored in the Charger debacle as a D didn't show up. But of course Nate Peterpan and Hotrod didn't help them very much. But still. NO one says they couldn't have not rolled over and gave up so many TDs. Our D has got to be the laziest bunch of snowflakes around. The other team scores a TD or two and they melt, or so the legend goes.

Who would destroy the Bills in the playoffs?
reddogblitz replied to unclepete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we make the playoffs, we'll be the ones doing the destroying -
They draft a lot more QBs than we do. Johnny Football, Weeden, Kizer and acquired a lot of others McCown, Robert Griffin It's a TBD Bills fan's dream!

We do. 21-18 .553 .750 when the D show up this year. Again, the problem is the defense, not the QB and has been the last 2 years before that? Do you dispute that? I'd love have a better QB and think we should go full hog on finding one. Just don't cut a pretty darn good one, the best we've had since Flutie got cut. Let's get some depth at QB for a change. If our starter is struggling would be nice to have someone we could put in that wouldn't throw 5 picks in the first half However cutting a decent QB after a good season where we're close is so Bills. Worked so well in 2000, 2004, and 2014..

You got it all figured out, don't you. I'm working from the disadvantage that I can't predict the future, so I'm gonna wait and see what happens. Dumping Hotrod is far from certain I would suspect. But win 8 or 9 games and be close and dump the QB would be typical Bills. Worked out great for us in 2000, 2004, and 2014.

Eric Dickerson Article: Applicable to Bills Situation?

7th best scoring offense in games Hotrod played in last year. Somehow THAT worked. -

It was dumb and Nate Peterpan stinks. Get over it. 10th best in scoring sucks? The problem is defense kids, not offense. When D shows up, were 6-2. When they don't, 0-3. I fixed your quote btw -

Rex was right on one thing and wrong on another. Right - it was a DUMB decision. Wrong - everybody in the Bills community thinks it was a dumb decision. A person couldn't swing a dead cat on TBD without hitting a few that think it was the right decision. -
It's simple: Win this week and we are IN
reddogblitz replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isn't that what we said when we beat the Cheese in 2014. Just beat the Raiders and we're in! With that said, let's take it to those cheating #$#%& pigs. Go BILLS !! -
What about pretending to do a #2 in the EZ using the football as a prop? Is that still illegal?

Tyler Dunne: "Dennison Stays and Tyrod Goes"
reddogblitz replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In games where our D showed up we are 6-2. If you know who catches you know what it's 7-1. In games our D DIDN'T show up we're 0-3. What is wrong with this picture? FIX the freakin' DEFENSE! -

I give Rex 100% credit from turning us into a bottom 3rd offense to one in the top 10 in scoring. Unfortunately I also have to give him credit for turning a top 5 defense into a bottom 3rd Defense. -

I agree we should do this. Draft or sign someone to challenge for the job. Let's take the Minnesota apporoach. Sign or draft as many decent ones as you can. Any of their 3 could start for us and a lot of other teams in the league. don't put our eggs all in one basket. -

We'll see. Be careful what you ask for. -

We'll see. If it happens, I'll gladly accept it. However, it is far from a forgone conclusion like I read from you and others on at least an hourly basis.
