Hmm. Could have sworn read on here at least 6000 times he was.
As far as the others, that's my point. You gotta pick the right one when there. Same goes for the draft. Its not where you pick, its who you pick.
I agree 100%. But I also think there other ways besides top 10 draft pick. All avenues (trade/FA signing etc) should be pursued with abandon.
Hasselbeck and Holmgrwn had a nice run in Seattle in the early/mid 2000s with 2NFC championship games and 1SB appearance. Hass couldn't beat out Favre and was languishing on the pine. This is one of those other avenues of which I was speaking.
Good thing Holmgren didn't follow your philosophy on Favre. He couldn't beat out Chris Chandler. And again taking Matt Hasselbeck who couldnt beat out Favre.
Again, thanks for the clarification. I don't follow college football that close. I also don't have anything against him and of the power 5, to me looks like the best.
I meant pocket pressure.
It and an alleged weak arm are the only knocks I've read. Of course it wasn't much of an issue at Alabama with their roided up monster offensive line. Well see what he does here on the real world.
Whenever I think of a "walk on", I think of someone like Rudy. Not a guy that gets a full ride to a football factory and quits because he's not the starter and goes elsewhere. If we do draft him, AJ will be our only QB that didn't have to do that.
Championship.
Not for me. I remember Bart Starr very well. Especially after he got that sneak on the play Jerry Kramer jumped off sides to win the ice Bowl over my beloved Cowboys (until they were ruined by JJ).
Actually Earl Marrall started more games for the Fish that year.

I always considered Don's call of starting Bob G in the Super Bowl a very gutsy call. You win 10 in a row with one guy and then bench him in the SB. Crazy. But it worked.
