  1. Adolph Coors seemed to do OK.
  2. Do you think perhaps this was because he a BACKUP thrust into starting in the playoff run/playoffs as a rookie or second year guy. Have you ever seen a team in a similar situation tell the QB "bombs away"? Usually a coach will play more conservative with the backup in. 276 for a backup in his first 3 or 4 games ain't chopped liver btw. Brilliant. Thanks for the clarification. I guess we really did have an RB at QB after all.
  3. Isn't that what we want? If he can do that and pass accurately and WRs actually catch them and we get the run game back up to 2014/2015/2016 level, we could win a lot of games.
  4. Ooops, Sorry. Never mind I'm glad you enjoy my posts.
  5. I wonder if Trump opponents realize that all the stuff they are doing is setting the precedent on how take down your opponent party's president. I saw an editorial by Max Boot in the paper on Sunday. I tried to find it online to link to but couldn't. In it he said that while collusion is not a crime on the books, it is in the court of public opinion. Congress can interpret "high crimes and misdemeanors" however they want. Are they really sure this is precedent they want to set? BJs in the oval office? Could have saved the Rs a lot of time getting him to lie under oath. No blue dress required.
  6. One of my favorite parts is when gang leader Peter Falk is taking his boys over to his rivals casino to tear it up when they see Robo's gang going the other way to their casino to trash it. "Where's Robo going" "I don't know but he's going to be in for a surprise when they get back". then the other gang "Where's Peter Falk going" "I don't know but he's going to be in for a surprise when they get back". If you haven't seen it, you really should.
  7. Robin and the SEven Holds is a great movie no doubt.
  8. I wonder what she thinks about "old white men" Abraham Lincoln and John Brown?
  9. what did they think of Josh Allen's old tweets I wonder. Since when can a person's old tweets be forgiven?
  10. I think he probably can too Fig. i actually think he can be good.
  11. Thanks for the explanation. I guess we'll see what happens. I just hope we have someone on the roster this year that can at least equal Hotrod's performance last year. PLAYOFFS !! Go BILLS !!
  12. Gheez yall are tough. We had a guy that led us to playoffs but we couldn't wait to get rid of him and did. Now we're trashing the new guy that has yet to take a snap in a Bill suit even though he has thrown a 2 TD passes in the playoffs. TOUGH CROWD
  13. It's cool Personally, I don't put any credence in what sport writers sitting in the stands tweet or report about the QBs in practice. When the pre season games start we may be able to tell a little more. But really, we won't know anything until they play in the regular season. I think AJ could be really good. Maybe not. A week from tonight we'll have a little better idea. I just don't see how you can tell that AJ is doesn't seem very good at this point. I find it puzzling, but to each his own I guess. I'm also curious why you think the bolded. Personally, I think the jury is still out on all 3.
  14. Cool avatar. But evidently not much gray matter between the horns.
  15. If the jury is not out, what's the verdict? Can you really judge if a QB is no good on 4 games when he threw 6 TDs and 2 picks and brought his team from behind to take the lead late in a playoff game only to be blown by Bungle defenders getting 2 Personal Fouls resulting in 30 yards in penalties setting up the opponents game winning FG? OK.
  16. Nasty Nate I can see. But the jury is still way way way out on AJ IMHO.
  17. to and too is my favorite. He just went on to "win" 5 Super Bowls.
  18. I'm looking forward to see what they do with Footloose.
  19. I thought you were going to stop posting.
  20. In other worlds, he made the list before he knew what he was talking about.I it's a fools errand anyway. Maybe now each can move on to the next crap shoot. How many games will each team win.
  21. Do these losses we get while we "get Allen in there and see if he can do it" go on Sam Monson's permanent record? Sure it's fine if you're a fan or sportswriter to say just toss the kid in and see what he can do. But Coach McDermott is a smart coach. he knows that if you're losing too many games you're out quickly regardless of if you got Allen in to "see if he can do it" or not. A coach that is rebuilding is rebuilding for the next coach that comes in. Think of the Gus/Marrone scenario. Not to mention what it will do to players like Shady and Kyle Williams and Kelvin Benjamin and Jerry Hughes if one of the other guys does better in TC/PS/practice than Allen. Mutiny in the locker room is never pretty. Great idea for getting clicks, but dumb for a coach that wants to build for the future and WIN NOW. Use last season as your guide. Many sportswriters thought the Bills should roll with Nasty Nate to "see what he can do". If we followed their advice then we'd be sitting on 18 right now. Of course if Allen suddenly "lights it up" and is ready in the eyes of Coach McDermott, by all means ...
  22. vs a guy with 3 NFL games and 2TD s 6 picks vs a guy that has played 0 NFL games and was drafted AS A PROJECT. Not that shocking.
  23. 90% of the time? it's one season. It's gonna either be 100% or 0%.
  24. they don 't. I discovered this a long time ago.
