Part of me keeps thinking the plan was to showcase Gore AND McCoy. The one that gets the highest bid, we trade. Beane has pulled showcase and trade before (Sammy). -

Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread

Inslee is the guy that was my HOR representative. Then he decided to run for Governor so he resigned from HOR leaving his seat empty and un attended until a special election could be held months later. Left our district with no representation in HOR. I predicted at the time he would run for prez in the not too distant future. I still have not forgiven him for that. His political aspirations are obviously more important to him than his constituents. -
Trump foreign policy

Exactly. It's not like we haven't purchased resource rich areas in the past. The Louisiana Purchase and Seward's Icebox come to mind. If Hillary had won and suggested this it would be considered brilliant and very progressive. -

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Didn't realize that. I'm still keeping my GPS off though. That's what most apps use and why they ask you if they can when installing (I think). Some apps complain that it's not turned on. F$%k 'em. -
Trump Wants To Regulate Google
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
True, but I don't think they can get within a few feet without GPS and triangulation off cell towers alone. This makes me want to ditch my cell phone. Similarly. I went down to the local paint store last night to buy a gallon of paint. The kid asked me if I had an account and I said no. He said, oh can add you. I asked why I needed an account to buy a can of paint. He said I didn't, but if I did I got 10% off everything. I paid full price. He thought I was nuts. This big brother stuff drives me nuts. I want to be a full fledged participating in the world citizen, but these days to do so I have to open my kimono to everyone, event he guys at the paint store. Sad. </get off my lawn rant> I admit it. -
Trump Wants To Regulate Google

Oh, he's definitely running in 2020. But one thing he says in here that is not exactly right. he say Google tracks you within a few feet of our location at all times. That's only true if you leave your GPS on at all times which I suspect most people do. There's really no reason to do that except for Google and FakeBook etc to know where you are. I turn mine off unless I really need it on for something to help ME. Like occasionally when I use the map/driving thing. But I usually use my old TomTom or that. Doesn't track where I am. A side benefit is it makes the battery charge last a lot longer. Probably mostly true since most people don't know or don't care about this stuff. Like who for example? Show me an example. -

Sarcasm is much harder to detect in writing since you don't have tone of voice and facial inflections to tip you off. If you mean sarcasm, you might want to just say so to avoid confusion. That and the whole point of sarcasm is to try to mislead the other person with words. Much easier to confuse in writing. This is part of the problem in the world today with all the divisiveness. We go primarily by written communication (Tweeter, FakeBook, Instagram, etc). Written communication is several notches down in commination quality than face to face which is the best. Next time you want to use sarcasm, help out a Bills brother, and let us know. -

Is this the "dark money" that Elizabeth is going to get rid of? I find the Elizabeth "dark money" line kindof funny. She spent years in congress and did nothing about it. She actually could have at least tried to do something about it in congress. Now she's running for prez talking about when really, the prez can't do anything about it. -

I have played on many tennis courts. This is an interesting looking court. First off, it doesn't even look flat. Could be the photography I suppose. It's really ugly too. If you built your own court you'd probably make it like blue or red or beige around the outside of the court. Doesn't even look like it has a net. More like a dark line painted on the court. Why build a berm around it? Wind? Usually you just put up a good fence with wind screens attached to the fence. Here he has a berm that doesn't really look tall enough for this purposes and a fence with no wind screens. I also searched for Jeffery Epstien tennis on DuckDuckGo and only found a few things. One where he gave $35,000 to a kids tennis foundation. Why is there a road emptying out at the tennis court? The only Jeffery Epsien tennis person I found was this guy: https://tennisround.com/tennis-player/28863/jeffrey-epstein Smells fishy. -

A lot of things don't work the way they are supposed to. Sadly it's the way the world works. Elect Elizabeth I guess. She want to take the "dark money" out of politics. -

No. I don't know if he did or didn 't, but last time he admitted sexually assaulting women and got elected. nominating an inspiring candidAte would be a better strategy than depending on this stuff to win. -

I'm going to repeat a question one of the Parkland students asked at the CNN Town Hall. It this is something 70% of the population wants and Congress doesn't do anything, does that mean our system is broken? -

you're welcome sea monster. when starting a thread in the future containing.a person 's name, might be wise to look up the person's spelling. Takes like 2 seconds. As P. T. Would say "spell my name right". I wonder Aaron would take a cut in pay in order to lower prices for the fans?
