  1. how do you know this?
  2. of instead of is, yeat instead of year I'll you that. As far as the rest goes, I guess you don't speak jazz Thanks for providing your service to TBD as spelling monitor.
  3. Whatever man. What's wrong from a personnel stand point waiting to see how he completes the year before going all hog wild throwing money at him? 5.5 sacks in 5 years and 6 sacks in 8 games could be an aberration. See how he handles it when he gets double teamed. Is that not possible? We made that mistake with Fitz and Chris Kelsay iirc.
  4. I love what this cat is doing. He's sacking of up. He has had over 1/2 his career sacks this yeat. He had 5.5 his first 5 years in the league. I'd like to see if this continues before getting too geeked out about a fat contracts.
  5. Our identity is winning. By any means necessary. One week it's Josh in a come from behind win. One week it's feeding Singletary and throwing 20 passes. Same result. A W. What's wrong with that? What do you propose. Decide this week we are by golly a passing team so we de emphasize the run going against the 30th rank run defense?
  6. If you concentrate too much on making someone "pay" you 're concentrating on the wrong thing. Make him "pay" by losing the game.
  7. Coach McDermott has a career 21-20 * record with the Bills, best since Wade was fired. We are 6-2 this year and 2 games up in WC. We can win every game 5-3 except for one at 3-2 for all I care. Just win. * Includes playoffs Go BILLS !!!
  8. Yeah really. You don't "bang" a drum, you play a drum. It's a musical instrument. Billy Cobham once told me you pull the sound out of a drum. He would know.
  9. No. It was Rick Dockery. I would recommend it to any football fan or anyone in general. It is good.
  10. Have you read "Playing for Pizza" by John Grisham? It's about a bad NFL QB that goes to Europe to play on a semi-pro football team. It's really good.
  11. I see this as a player safety concern. Jet lag is a real thing. I've traveled over there a bunch and can personally attest to that. For the first few days over there I was sleep walking. Can't imagine trying to play football.
  12. You don't know it's a fallacy and neither do any of us. We won't know for sure until/if they put a team there for about 5-10 years.
  13. You're on the ground there. I trust your knowledge and judgement. Are there any professional football leagues in Europe? With all this interest in NFL football have any been proposed? Do kids play football there? I'm asking because I'm curious. Not trying to make a point.
  14. I see your point. However what I wonder about is would it be sustainable? It's one thing to sell out a game or two as a novelty. What happens when you have 10 games to sell out per year after the novelty has worn off? It's like if they open a new restaurant in your neighborhood and for the first 2 weeks the line is out the door. After a few weeks not so much. I just wonder if London is ready for a team in the same way LA was ready for two teams? As far as the inferiority of the product goes, they love basketball in Europe too. And they have their own leagues AND support it even though it's not on the same level as the NBA. Same goes for China. If you love the sport, you love the sport I guess is my point. In Seattle when they bring in Chelsea for a friendly they sell 65,000 tickets. For MLS games they sell 35,000. Still a lot for an inferior product. But they support it because they love soccer in Seattle.
  15. How so? Please explain. It included players like Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, Fred Jackson and coaches like HOF Ernie Stautner who was long time DC on Tom Landry's staff who led Frankfurt to back to back World Bowls. Other coaches included Mouse Davis, Kay Stephenson, and Jim Haslett, My point is if they love football so much why didn't they watch it? Instead their franchise folded up like a cheap lawn chair. I love football and I watched it and thought it was fun. Are they snooty football fans that only can stomach "The Best football"? Makes no sense to me.
  16. I did mean WLAF. WAFL was a joke name which is what many of us called it at the time. However, the league lasted until 2007. The London Mondarchs were replaced by the Berlin Thunder in 1998. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Europe
  17. If there is so much interest in football in London, why don't they have their own league? As I recall, the London Monarchs were one of the first teams in the WAFL to fold.
  18. I never understood the concept of music videos in the first place. almost makes a guy miss Dan Dierdorf. Almost ...
  19. I'm just comparing personal TBD shipping boys regardless of position.
  20. Ought Oh, is Jerry now in the running for perennial TBD whipping boy? I thought DiMarco had that spot locked up already.
  21. Looked to me like he was definitely affected by the pressure. I would point to a few plays like the intentional grounding and the deep flutter ball pick to Earl as evidence among others. Why?
  22. Once again Baltimore showed if you can hit Tommy hard a few times early he gets gun shy and hears foot steps and throws bad passes.
