  1. This board is so maddening! I'm guessing the same posters who are upset by our dead money are the ones who always want to trade or cut players. Just a guess.
  2. Please enlighten me on why you think Orton wants to come out of retirement to play backup for the Buffalo Bills?
  3. I agree, I was excited about him too. However the bills have been hitting on enough drafts the last couple of years that a bust was due, not that I'm declaring Cyrus a bust. Be grateful that we don't have the Colts FO drafting for us.
  4. This is the earliest I've ever seen the sky fall here at TSW. 3rd PS game and people are jumping out of windows. And before anyone says "14 years of no playoffs will do that to you!" I'll say get over it, to the person that says that there are 31 other teams to pick from that you can root for. For every argument that the sky is falling there's an argument that it's not. I'm not sold on EJ but I root for him and understand he's young, I'm not sure I like the way our pass D is looking but I hope the gel and get better, I am definitely not sold on Marrone but I'll give him more that 1 season and a few PS games to prove himself. Let's see where this team is headed before we start "panicking". 1 season and a couple of vanilla PS games is just not enough to start blowing things up.
  5. No ones stopping you from rooting for Pittsburg now.
  6. Waaaay too much stock being put into the preseason.
  7. I think that's a little too optimistic. I'd say: 3100 yards 23 TDS 11 ints 62% completion percentage I think that's has us in contention for a WC birth.
  8. Jerry Hughes made a little name for himself last year and seems to have found his voice. Hmmm
  9. He tore his ACL I think so I doubt he'll be coming in for a look see
  10. EJ looked a 1000x better in his preseason games as a rookie than Manziel does. Where are the JF defenders today?
  11. There's something about a woman who is funny that I find very attractive, Sarah Silverman does it for me, however she actually has a nude scene in the movie "Take this Waltz" and I wasn't too impressed. I'm still waiting on Tina Fey and/or Amy Schumer to strip down. I'm also a big fan of Rachel Feinstein.
  12. The knock on EJ last year was that he would only throw to open receivers and had a hard time trusting the guys that were covered. So the Bills went out and got some guys that can win those matchups (Williams and Watkins), now he's giving them a chance. I say let's wait and see how tho played out.
  13. Whoever is doing that Voice over or radio show or whatever that is may be the dumbest person in America.
  14. Disagree, Silvermans last special a few months ago was great, her comedy has matured. I think she's funnier than ever. Atell on the other hand has made his living on fart and poop jokes, it's gotten lame. I stopped laughing at jokes about boobies when I was a teenager, there's no wit behind it mostly. Louis CK on the other hand is very talented.
  15. By far my favorite post in awhile. Agreed JG. The "chicken littles" aka the "sky is falling crowd" aka the "pessimists" aka the "realists" might do well to be more pragmatic and level headed like yourself. Makes the board more enjoyable.
  16. I find it ironic that someone with the moniker "Edwards Arm" is defending Jeff Tuel. No disrespect, just find it funny.
  17. I don't know how many punts Thomas will be able to recruit but I don't see the value in any team having extra punts on their team.
  18. The only thing I disagree with here is that you throw the ball to a covered Calvin Johnson and let him win the battle, this is the reason I believe we traded for both Watkins and Williams- they both have the ability to win when they're covered. Whether or not that's good for EJs growth has yet to be determined. I used to be against picking a WR early in the draft, I didn't think the position was that important. However with all the rule changes over the years and now again more rule changes this year the WR may be one of the most important positions on the field. If you have a guy or two that can win a battle you throw them the ball regardless of how well they're covered.
  19. Um yeah. That pretty much sums it up. Tuel has a noodle for an arm. Reminds me of Pennington AFTER the surgery.
