  1. Seeing how 3rd and 22 is our bread and butter... and we've got a ton of throttle to spare, I hope McD this season, whether it's a 60-40 or a 40-60, chooses to put the pedal to the metal, without relent or a second thought.
  2. Thanks for doing this- I'll start my 18 and d'oh! with the Panthers. Nothing could be finer Than to be in Carolina In the morning No one could be sweeter Than my sweetie when I meet her In the morning When the morning glories Twine around the door Whispering pretty stories I long to hear once more Strolling with my girlie Where the dew is pearly early In the morning Butterflies all flutter up And kiss each little buttercup At dawning Nothing could be finer Than to be in Carolina In the morning
  3. Life 101, but it's not that simple:
  4. Lucky charms marshmallows- the rainbow ones for the elite!
  5. Weaver looks more like a chin-strap kinda cowboy.
  6. I know... I can't help it, though. Plus- that's only 4 1/2 in dog years Nearly a pup!
  7. I was hoping we'd cut him and re-sign to the actual PS this year. I guess I get to hope for that again next year. GO BILLS!!!
  8. Do you go visit the tax-preparer ex every April? ... and keep in mind the chips and salsa are already free at the Mexican joints
  9. I'm a bit apprehensive on appreciating 42 Giles-Harris. On a Detroit TD run he gave up at 2 distinct points. He wasn't in a good position either time, but if he'd given effort he might've gotten back in the play. edit, just re-watched it and I was wrong. I think it was more a case of wretched instincts, followed by piss-poor athleticism, capped off with a lack of heart:
  10. I think the royal blue should be a half step darker.
  11. I used to play a lot of pool. I won some tourneys. I'd make jump-shot banks and some of the craziest ***** you could conceive of. I had an old guy I used to play minimum 3-rail with, and the games actually went pretty quick. I was pretty frickin slick, but not flawless. Every once in a while I'd come across one of those old guys who thought they knew better, had a better idea on how I shoulda hit that shot I just missed. Honestly it never pissed me off. I knew I was better than them, and my answer was always pretty much the same-"Beat me, then tell me how to play the game." The Bills haven't done ***** yet.
  12. Well how does the world have to come around to the idea that this person would be well served by taking a shower:
  13. I think they'll keep the best team together, regardless of contract situation.
  14. I wasn't complaining about a tribute, but I will say some senseless deaths are less random than others, and it's a good thing there wasn't a minivan cruising through a green light.
  15. That'd be pretty sweet haha. I was replying to no moon's sentiment that the NBA was using this to heighten attention to safe driving. They certainly don't appear to be.
  16. Don't know where 619 got the details, but it certainly wasn't nba.com- he's a blameless victim on that website: "As a highly-regarded prep player from Boston, Clarke played the 2020-21 season at Kentucky, then announced he was turning professional after his freshman year and immediately began training for the next level. Just months later, he was gone, a victim in a fatal single-passenger car accident in the Los Angeles area in April." The wording even sounds like they're trying very hard to cover the details. https://www.nba.com/news/nba-honors-late-draft-prospect-terrence-clarke%3famp=1
  17. Amazing vertical and catch radius, but posted zero on the bench.
  18. North Buff, yours is a very thoughtful response. The problem is that you are trying to use rational arguments with people who actively seek out mis-information, and wear the rejection of science and reason as a badge of honor. As a kid we learned about, 'The Dark Ages' and 'The Enlightenment.' My young self, even going to Catholic school, could never imagine people aligning themselves with the dark ages... with pride, no less... but here we are.
  19. Someone needs to open covid lounges- it'd be like an oxygen bar for dip-*****.
  20. You seem to be a bit slow to the concept of a fan message board. Some people are gonna be, ya know, fans.
  21. https://www.baumhedlundlaw.com/aviation-accident/recent-aviation-crashes/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_accidents_and_incidents_involving_commercial_aircraft
  22. Love it- Another great live vehicle they had during that era is 'Water.' (But I don't want to turn this into a Who Live thread haha) and NO WAY am I gonna interrupt a Billy Joel lovefest. )
