  1. No doubt, I don't look forward to the Pats*, even this year- which I did not expect. I don't think it's gonna last, though. Watch his feet... he's going to start getting nailed, and from there you're going to find out who your QB is. My money's on can't make a career out of it.
  2. Revised my post. Please check it and let's talk about this Brady 2.0 nonsensesne
  3. We'll see how inaccurate that is as he spends his short career on his ass. it's not immobility, it's cement feet. Ryan Mallet and Deadsloe with an arm needing development. Heck, keep cheering, it's all good. It's totally like a young Brady all over again.
  4. I think Matt Jones has cement feet like Bledsoe. We can throttle this team.
  5. I refuse to admit this man has died:
  6. Loooong story, but ***** it. My (much older) sis married probably the most brilliant human being I've ever met. He worked in radio, and was an inspiration to me. He also gave Tom Petty, as far as I can gather, his first radio exposure- at least on the West coast. I love this story from my sis- when she first met Petty at an after party, he said to her, 'I want you to know, before I get ***** up and it doesn't mean anything, that you're a Very beautiful woman'. - She was talking with him with her fiancee, so it wasn't a pick up line... just a nice moment from a soon to be rock star. If you ever listen to The Last DJ... well those are the peeps
  7. I hope you know I massively appreciate your enthusiasm for music cross-spectrum... I have a stereo that I love... well, I built the friggin thing... that I certainly don't get to listen to nearly to as often as I'd like. I apologize if I come across as a *****, or don't always get to other people's music being shared. I know I'm missing out on some great stuff, but I love this thread, so and tune in as often as I can. My apologies if I was randy- lots of life crap I seem to have found myself in the middle of solving. but As Always, ***** the Jests! ) (and maybe Mrs SDS can help us on this indexing plight, now that she's turned a sprightly 50... assuming they've gotten internet on the commune) P T.W.A.T. Like SWAT, but different...
  8. Aww Muppy you are a favorite. I throw on music mostly because you remind me of a gal I adored, who lied to me, and told me she was 23, when I was 25, and it turned out she had a son who was a Marine, but I really liked her, and although I wondered if I ever met her son in person if he would possibly kill me for boinking his mom... well that didn't happen. With that said, originally I thought she was my age for the first few weeks ...and she was almost as good looking as I was... anyway, glad to finally confess that off my chest... and I know it ain't maybe fair, per se, but a bald guy throwing agro lyrics my way had better be DAMN good or it just is not music I want to get.
  9. Before this world just conveniently forgets everything
  10. This is a good band
  11. It doesn't get more touching
  12. Great observation by Another Fan, and I frickin love Dog Day Afternoon!!! Yes Cave has some pretty swift lyrical chomps. Not sure if you caught it was an album posted, but if you click the three bars you'll probably know track 5. And track 6 is holy crap level on the lyrics. Granted not necessarily party music heheheh
  13. I have a buddy who's a Rams fan, and he called me up all, 'I can't believe we got Sammy!' and I was like, no, you got Woods. I loved that pick, but oh well, not destined to be ours.
  14. It's all well and good that everyone's getting an upset hung on them, but the way Meyer just nonchalantly mapped out how to shut down our offense on a bar napkin before the game... then proceeded to back it up on gameday, leaves me feeling more queasy about our fluke loss than the others.
  15. Thrilling, filthy album.
  16. That game sucked going into- anything short of a complete blowout was going to be disappointing... and if we blew them out it was going to be a crappy football game to watch. Decided to take a look at a Jags board, and this gem from a longtime poster at least helped a bit- "Aside from Hyde’s fumble and the missed kicks, was a refreshing and exciting game to watch." 9 fricken points... so glad we're not there anymore
  17. A few years back when the regular refs walked out, the announcers kept harping that the fans were upset about the fill-ins and wanted the regular refs back... I know I didn't. Sure, the replacements blew a few calls, bad, but overall it felt balanced. Today's game, as usual, did not feel balanced. Yes, that RT was moving early and kept getting away with it.
  18. Fair enough... and I can't even speel, apparently. )
