  1. The new front offices commitment to getting bigger makes me think both will be gone
  2. second team depends on who goes down, If its Bell, Pears who has played LT before most likely swings to that side and Hairston or Wrotto fills in at RT. If Levitre or Wood goes down Hangartner most likely fills in for them. Hangartner played LG in Carolina, then Rinehart at RG unless the coaching staff feels we would be stronger with Wood bumping back out at RG and Hangartner goes back in at Center
  3. Poz out of the lineup and Merriman in the lineup with another year experience on Moats and some solid Draftees like Sheppard, not to mention the promising Danny Batton returning. Andre Davis is a solid vet returning to the system. Stroud out from in from of them and Dareus in....Its not weaker, I like Poz but he plays linebacker like a safety drifting around making tackles downfield
  4. Health and continuity is the main concern, if our starting group can stay healthy and create chemistry as a unit then we will be fine. We have lost starters early in the season and have had to sign street free agents and some off our guys have spent entire offseasons rehabbing its. Our line started to come on strong as of late last season, is getting much better. RT is the only question mark. We have good depth at the interior. If bell goes down we may be forced to shuffle around again and may be in some trouble. Pears is better than some of us think, he played LT and RT in Denver before suffering a leg injury then being caught up to the Josh McDaniels shuffling everyone out of town.
  5. Mcgee is old and injured, a featured player, unless something special shouldn't be returning kicks. Mckelvin cant hang on to the ball & understanding one position seems over his head, Parrish is strictly a punt returner, If jackson is our featured back he shouldn't be a return man, That leaves us with Spiller and Smith.
  6. ILB can Rush the Passer too.
  7. Who is out there that will make them division winners?? The Patriots and the Jets are signing big name guys because they have a solid foundation built and they are looking to win now. The Patriots know that they need to get every big player they can while they have Brady because when hes gone they are back to mediocrity. The Bills are still sorting through the rubble to build a solid foundation and see what talent they have and find out what they have. Yes its frustrating but signing free agents yes makes us better but 7-9 better, while building through the draft takes a chance on becoming great. Look at the playoff teams and where there QBs where takem Jets- Sanchez -5th overall Colts- manning- #1 overall Baltimore- Flacco-18th overall from a D2 school New England- Brady found on a fluke Pittsburg-Roethlisburger- 11th overall from small Miami Ohio New Orleans-Brees- 2nd round took 5 years to develop, was a risky sign with a shoulder injury Seattle-Hasselback- traded for a 1st round #17 and a 7th greenbay -Rodgers-24th overall- sat behind favre for a long time Philidelphia-Vick-1st overall Atlanta-Ryan-3rd overall Chicago-Cutler-11th overall pick by Denver also using a 2nd and a 3rd to move up to get him then Chicago traded the farm to get him So unless we wait for a fluke, have 5 years to wait for a player to develop, have a Brett Favre to sit behind, get lucky on a D2 guy, trade the farm, or score a hasselbach in the late first round. But then considering, a fluke comes once in a millennium, nobody is going to want to wait another five years to develop, we dont have a Brett Favre, dont have a strong supporting cast for D2 guy, Cutler isnt worth trading the farm for, hasselbach is a solid qb but not great, the best odds for landing a great QB and a franchise player is in the top of the draft and your not going to get there by signing free agents right now.
  8. Billicheck is the most overrated coach in the world. He is 41-57 without Tom Brady and that includes inheriting a Bill Parcels talent filled roster. Dick Jauron is 60-82. He found Brady by accident, I hope he is taking damn could care of Mo Lewis.
  9. No Mccargo has actually made a tackle, I almost believe he made one behind the line scrimmage. not to mention has been less penalized.
  10. Poz is replaceable especially in the 3-4, sure he is a solid starter but injury prone and more of a pursuit guy than a difference maker, any middle linebacker worth anything makes a lot of tackles, few where behind the line of scrimmage. I hoped they could retain him, our front office must see some promise in our new draftees Clabo would have been a nice acquisition however he is 30. he wasnt that spectacular, he made the probowl once while being surrounded by talent on his offense, a solid starter but not the complete stud some of us act like we are getting. By the time we might become competitive again he will be around 33-35 and will will have to find a replacement for our aging overpaid RT.
  11. Bell Played well towards the end of the season, he missed a lot of strength, conditioning and practice time in the offseason, should be solid from the get go this year. Hopefully stays healthy- dont want to see Ed Wang starting Levitre is pretty damn good Wood should start making the probowl at center and be considered one of the best in the league Urbik played well last year specifically against Pittsburgh Hartgarner- Provides real good depth at the interior being he can play center and guard Pears- a journeymen that hopefully steps up atleast plugs the revolving door at RT. Im thinking we atleast add another veteran to compete for this job, Maybe Hairston will be a surprise
  12. With the season cut short it will be a challenge for Gailey to implement a lot of gadget plays and wildcat formations. Im thinking this give the Bills some cushion at the WR position for next year, let Stevie, Easley, and Nelson develop one more season with Lee, then as these younger guys mature, Evans will become expendable.
  13. A sixth round draft pick looked horrific during his first preseason at a position he has never played before......get out
  14. Until Brady is done the Pats are going to be a tough team to beat, with the signing of aging big name players they are losing out on developing younger talent and taking a chance on building on the so called dynasty they have had, hopefully when Brady is done this will put them further in the hole and all these bandwagon Patriot fans will fade out.
  15. Does Chan like his versatility as an occasional passer or is Stevie going to slide to the # 1 slot at some point as we part ways with Evans?
  16. Its hard to win in the NFL
  17. No more RT raider castoffs
  18. Yes we need to sign Big time free agents.....we where awesome with TO, Takeo Spikes, Lawyer Milloy, Troy Vincent.......I mean we almost made the playoffs...screw winning 4 games and developing young guys when we can spend big money and win 6.
  19. is every draft pick that doesn't evolve into potential hall of famer considered a bust? hes a decent starting linebacker after being a 2nd round draft pick. 4 years in the league, 2008 Bills defensive player of the year, team captain. Hes no superstar but hardly a bust.
  20. boobs make everyone happy
  21. Maybin is the only horrible one i see being mentioned. Cornell Green, Stroud, Edwards, are not Bills. Kelsay has been an average 4-3 defensive end. Our RT position and LB position has been filled in by late scrub additions I dont think anybody expected them to be anything less then sub-par.
  22. To many holes to create another one. Youre only as good as the people around you. If we get some more talent on defense he will be better
  23. Good if Jasper makes the team we can call him Sensual Chocolate
  24. There doesnt seem to be any real evidence about the Bills being considered. It makes sense that if LA wants a team it will target a West Coast team like Oakland and San Diego, being that those teams already have a fan base there and are close enough to keep there already existing fan base. However it also makes sense that the Bills may be vulnerable seeing how there is a decline in the population of upstate New York and the team hasnt won enough to gereate any income from bandwagoners, making them look for a larger fan base in Toronto. Im not sure if Buffalo has a whole lot of major companies throwing major money at box seats and investments with the teams. Tops and Wegmans can only do so much.
