until we can consistently beat top tier teams in this league, make the playoffs, and not look at our games vs the Patriots as our Superbowl's then we can be content with who we have at QB. What we do have is a team that has enough talent where we can take a 2nd or a 3rd round draft pick and not expect him to become a starter in the near future. If the is a QB like Gabbert that falls into the 3rd we can take him and try to groom him for 2-3 years and be a backup.

Yes and no...yes as in we need to find ways to get him on the field as much as possible which is tough when Freddy is the best RB in football. No as he needs to keep tacking hand offs to get better at the running back position but you cant keep the best RB in football on the bench.

The only issue I see with redoing Corey's contract is that I'm not sure what he will ask in part to what are front office is going to pay. Not because our front office is cheap but because Chan's offense doesn't incorporate a full back except in goal line situation. Even in short yardage we are using Brad Smith. I would love to see a traditional running back behind a fullback formation from time to time as I fell that Chan's pass happiness my bite us in the a** at some point.
