Did anybody watch Dolphins v Pats?
Captain Hindsight replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watching it now. Ill post observations as I go Miami blocked a punt after forcing a 3 and out to start. Punter dropped the snap. Good pressure to start by Miami. The Pats o line isn't as good as it used to be. Not by a long shot. Marcus Cannon is bad. Nearly got Brady Killed. Tannehill has all day to throw. But like Tannehill does he throws it right to the defender. Intense pressure on Brady. Not sure if its the oline or the D line but its a bit of both I'm sure. Miami just committed their third turnover. Really tried to lose this one. Miami's D looks good but the offense hasn't improved. Seriously Miami is doing the best to lose in the first half. Wallace burned Revis bad then caught the ball out of bounds uncontested in the end zone. Horrible field awareness 20 to 10 at halftime. Wallace with his second drop early in the third. Poor tackling by the Pats*. Morano looks like a good pickup for Miami, Running hard Wake is a great pass rusher. Henderson will have his hands full Lucky break on Wallace TD. Pass was knocked down by Revis but wallace was able to secure it. Tied at 20 now Poor tackling again by the Pats. Miller and Moraneo are running hard but weak arm tackles all over the place by the pats. 23 to 20 Miami D line again getting great pressure on Brady. Nobdy getting open for the Pats. He's got no help. Miami is losing linebackers quickly tho. We will need to check their status for next week\ Miami just had a long drive to seal it. Pats missed at least 10 tackles on that drive. Horrible fundamentals Wake unblockale on the Pats last drive. O line looks rough for the Pats Conclusions: We tackle we win. Morano was breaking tackles and running hard but the Pats wanted nothing to do with him. Shocking to see that from a belicheat coached team. Tannehill tried hard to lose this game. He had several bad throws and should have had a few more INTs. Cameron Wake is really good. Henderson and Glenn will have their hands full. That Pats are going to pay for never giving Brady targets. Brandon Lafell? Kembrell Tompkins? These guys suck and can't get open. How long can they rely on Brady to make them look good. He needs help. Gronkowski is their best weapon and he looks hobbled. Could be a long year in NE if Gronk gets hurt again. The middle of their O line looks like a Colin Brown started for them. Cant believe they let Mankins go for a backup TE. Marcus Cannon nearly got Brady killed 3 times. Very winnable game if they can keep EJ upright. The D should be fine seeing as how they can tackle. Tannehill will throw a few picks, he forced some bad throws yesterday Pats didn't tackle. At all -

Watched about 10 mins and that was too much. The utopians? are supposed to be there for a year. What person can push pause on life for a year? If it lasts a month I'll be amazed

The Robert Woods CATCH
Captain Hindsight replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
EJ is going to be a better QB purely because of what he has to work with. Stevie and Graham were decent to good receivers at times. Williams, Woods and Watkins are far and away more talented and can go get the ball. Having Goodwin to burn somebody late in the game is just gravy -
Whaley deserves kudos
Captain Hindsight replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe we can trade him for a 2nd round pick. Sounds like his value is at an all time high -
Nothing flashy about the win today. Just made some great plays when they needed to. That's what the best teams do. Hopefully we can replicate it next week

Revisionist history much? David Nelson was let go because he was an average slow receiver before he tore his knee. He was replaced with Robert Woods. Hogan was not on the roster when Nelson was let go. -

Official Pre-Game Thread: Week 1, Bills at Bears
Captain Hindsight replied to Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The middle of the bears defense is weak. Expect lots of crossing routes and screens. The D line needs to play well today. If they get after Cutler, we got a great shot -

Schlereth Rips Decker a New One
Captain Hindsight replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that's a good spot. Probably on par with Williams. I think he was the 3rd receiver on Denver last year behind Welker and Thomas and personally I think Emmanual Sanders is a better talent. Denver made the right call -

Decker is a solid player but I doubt he becomes the number one receiver NJ wants him to be -

If EJ Can Remember How To Do This

EJ has plenty of talent. By all reports he is a great student and a diligent worker. Just needs more reps to find out if he can put it all together -
Marrone yells to Russ "go ahead and fire me"
Captain Hindsight replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've read every post before responding. First thought is LaCanfora has really gone downhill since he left NFLN. Thought that way before this story too. Lots of times he pushes bad info Second thought. I don't mind a bit of arguments. This has to be one of the most high pressure jobs. The FO and coaching staff are under tremendous pressure with uncertain ownership, an impatient fan base and a serious lack of success in recent years. I don't envy them at the moment. Arguments happen in high pressure situations. It's natural. I'm not surprised that would be disagreements. Marrone is like Coughlin. In fact they are good friends I believe. I know Marrone doesn't have the same track record as Coughlin, but everyone starts somewhere. Coughlin has gotten into plenty of arguments over the years. As has Harbaugh but so has Todd Haley. Who knows what this means. At the very least, it's not the same old Bills anymore My hope is that this story is way overblown. That's LaCanforas style in general so it wouldn't shock me if it was. I trust Kirby in saying that it's overblown. If it's all true, then it's going to be a long year. -
