Hue Jackson was fired after one year and turned into a great OC and now a second shot at a HC gig. Mularkey is now getting his 3rd shot after 2 years and 1 year respectively. He has a decent shot with a good QB and running game to be successful

The Jets played this horribly. They dragged out a negotiation that could have been done in March and signed him to the deal he proposed in June. Not only that, they basically showed that if you hold out long enough with the Jets, youll get your demands. I'm excited to watch this play out in future contract negotiations for the Jets. Expect them to get boned, often 6-10 couldnt be more realistic now

I am still feeling like I need to quit. Honestly its just making me depressed to have to go in every day. Nothing about the job is interesting to me and it highlights every weakness I have. If I got fired tomorrow, I think I'd actually be relieved more than upset. I like my boss, I respect him and think he is good at what he does, but If I'm sitting in his chair in 5 years, I'll hate myself. I need a purpose, a reason to wake up everyday. This just isn't it.
