  1. I like Tebow in the 2nd. I don't care about him playing in a spread offense & his delivery. The guy is a winner. It is very impressive that he worked so hard on his delivery before his pro day. Different from some of the prima donnas as QBs. I would rather have a guy who knows how to win than a guy who is supposedly pro ready but hasn't won consistently. I know it's a team game but the QB is the leader of the team. Don't want to start up one of those QB controversy discussions, but Doug Flutie was lacking some of the attributes of the prototypical NFL QB but the guy knew how to win. Jeff George (he of the million dollar arm and $.50 brain) is the best example of the hyped physical charcteristics being overshadowed by some of his lesser non-physical attributes.
  2. I did a search on him & came across a YouTube video of him saying he loved Buffalo. It showed him at an Applebee's (no entourage, just hanging with the employees.). Then it showed him at Dave & Buster's. The video was from 2007.
  3. I agree. This supports drafting an offensive lineman who can help a ball-control running game and protect the QB's backside when they do pass. And that's what was wrong with running the Tampa 2 Defense with smaller, supposedly quicker players. You just have to think back to that Cleveland game in the snow storm where our "quick" guys were basically useless.
  4. Now, it sounds like the spread offense was what he did in KC with Thigpen, right??!! When he was head coach of Dallas, what did they run?? Did he run the spread with Thigpen to take advantage of his skills?? We don't know how any of the current 3 QBs would do in a spread. I only know that Edwards didn't play in a spread offense with Stanford. Anyone know what Brohm played in at Louisville?? Obviously Tebow has run a spread. Also, McCoy.
  5. Nope. It's going to be the Patriots. Book it. Save it!! Rack it!! Whatever!!
  6. Note that I live in California, maroon!! Oakland has one of the worst crime rates in the country. I was just saying that wuth Lynch's behavior, maybe there was more to that incident than known.
  7. Levy & company said they did due-diligence and were confident it was not a big deal?? Maybe there was more to it. Lynch did grow up in Oakland.
  8. The rumor for about a week has been Lynch for a player.
  9. If they truly can get Gaithier for a 2nd and J.Campbell for a 4th, I believe that is the way to go. Then they can use the 1st pick on the Best Available player.
  10. Yahoo Sports did a Tale of the Tape of Bradford vs Clausen with good details. The Cons for Clausen lead me to not want the Bills to draft him. He struggles on deep throws, putting too much air under the ball, which forced his receivers to have to wait or come back to the ball. He is supposed to be a good fit for a West Coast offense, which we have not heard as being a Gailey type offense. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Apc8...vsclausen040510
  11. Levi Brown & Troy played Central Michigan, with LeFevour, in the GMAC Bowl. Both QBs had outstanding stats in a 44-41 2OT game. http://www.cmuchippewas.com/ViewArticle.db...TCLID=204865795
  12. You consider "Humdinger" a stud at center?? I still think they need a center. They should consider Wood there, especially if he is slow to recover from his injury. He'd have less running around to do.
  13. That's their decision. Their owner and new head coach are banking on getting success with the aging Pro Bowl QB. If the Bills had Campbell, would you have been asking for McNabb??
  14. Take a look at last season's stats: Passing Sacked Fumbles G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Sack YdsL Fum FumL McNabb 14 92.9 267 443 60.3 3553 253.8 8.0 22 10 35 264 10 3 Campbell 16 86.4 327 507 64.5 3618 226.1 7.1 20 15 43 285 11 3 Quite similar. And, as far as lack of confidence in Campbell "winning big", remember that McNabb played in 4 NFC Championship games and won only one. Campbell is younger by 5 years and you may possibly get him for a 4th, while it took a 2nd to get McNabb.
  15. Campbell's 2009 stats: Passing Rushing Sacked Fumbles G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Rush Yds Y/G Avg TD Sack YdsL Fum FumL 16 86.4 327 507 64.5 3618 226.1 7.1 20 15 46 236 14.8 5.1 1 43 285 11 3 A lot better than what the Bills have had for the past 3 seasons
  16. Remember Holmgren says he doesn't like him. Whether that's true or just blowin' smoke, only he knows.
  17. Warner made it to the Super Bowl with a mediocre running game and an O-line anchored by LT (Gag!!) Mike Gandy.
  18. I didn't like when Peters held out a couple years ago with no communication. What player was it that said he was in contact with Peters but felt the situation was between Peters & the team? I thought that was BS and the "leaders" of the team should've told him to get his butt in camp. So, he ends up reporting after the season started and prety much had a wasted season.
  19. I remember several times where a DT just pushed him back in the pocket. Should at least be able to hold his ground for a couple secs.
  20. WIth that size & speed I wonder what his issues are. Likely his smarts and/or running routes.
  21. You're missing a scatback running back.
  22. If the Bills take Tebow at #9, me & my friends watching the draft, will have the same dumbfounded look that we did with the selections of Whitner & Maybin.
  23. He's considered a young up-and-coming OT stud & the Ravens only tendered him for a 1st. They have Oher so they don't really need Gaither. I'd try & deal next year's #1. Then, they don't have to worry about a run on OTs in this draft and can focus on the best player available, whether that's McLain or Dan Williams, etc.
  24. That's the reaction when Bulaga is still there at the Bills' pick. Buulaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaga !!
  25. I agree. They went 6-10 with injuries & inexperience resulting in horrible O-line play. Also there were a couple of close late losses & pathetic coaching. How can people say 2-14 next season??
