Seems like they’re factoring in about a 50 percent chance that Allen starts. -7.5 with him starting…probably -3 or -2.5 if he sits. I’m kinda surprised it’s not off the board entirely.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess the league has strict rules about that...a tweet from a player about his injury status could have significant impact on gambling lines. A player who wanted to manipulate the line for whatever reason could do so...

Oliver is a stretch. Pretty good player, but hardly irreplaceable. Poyer certainly belongs on the list. Maybe Morse, too.

Yep, Miller was a very good acquisition. Not sure about Elam yet. it’s not necessarily Beane’s fault…both the Jets and the Dolphins have had a ton of high draft picks (through savvy trades and finishing low in the standings) and the Bills have been drafting at the end of the round for several years. We haven’t had a chance at guys like Jalen Waddle and Sauce Gardner. Eventually it catches up to you.

I don’t have a problem with not make a big mid-season…my problem is they aren’t adding impact players in the draft or otherwise and they’ve neglected the offensive line.

For the last year or so, I’ve been saying that the Dolphins and Jets are improving and could pose a threat to the Bills, and every time, I get laughed at. Both teams have added a ton of talented players through smart trades and solid drafting…we’ve got 17, but that’s not enough…and our drafting has been average. It will be a tough battle to win the division.
