  1. You could definitely presume that the Jets are in as a wild card, which just makes it a bit simpler to figure out what needs to happen for the Bills to make the playoffs. However, if the Jets go 0-4 down the stretch and the Bills go 4-0, then we finish with a better record than the Jets. Not likely to happen, but anything's possible I guess. If that happens, then it makes things easier for the Bills since we would be fighting for one of two wildcard spots. We could still finish tied with one of the other clubs at 10-6 (Denver, Baltimore, etc.) and still make it in. If the Jets finish 10-6 or better, it makes it more difficult for us since we are battling for only one playoff spot, so we would have to beat out all other teams.
  2. I think the funny thing about Rudy's Panic Posts is that as far as I can tell, he never actually posts anything other than thread starters. Has he ever posted a response within one of the threads he started?
  3. I'd like to see them make the playoffs even just to get playoff experience for the future. With expectations high for next year, it would be nice to get to the playoffs next year without a big group of playoff virgins.
  4. And I ignored it too. What, you think there is something so incredibly secret about plans for another jumbotron? TD doesn't want to tip his hand on that critical issue?
  5. The Jets don't necessarily have a hand in determining if we make the playoffs. However, if the Jets go 0-4 the rest of the way, and we go 4-0, it makes our chances a bit better since we could stand to lose one tiebreaker and still make it in. Also, if the Jets go 1-3 and we go 4-0, and the other teams finish 9-7 or worse, it would be nice because we would then get the 5 seed. We win the tiebreaker with the Jets, right? Not that it would matter that much, though.
  6. I'm sorry did you say something?
  7. Not much. Don't worry.
  8. We're DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED....oh wait, never mind
  9. It's not "flipflopper", the technical term is "bipolar".
  10. Not that I disagree with you or anything, but didn't Miami essentially try this against us? They have a pretty good defense.
  11. Good God, I nearly spit my lunch out when I saw that spread. Hmm. Better make sure the wife never hears me say that.
  12. Whoops, my bad. You're right, I never read your posts! Not after the gecko thread, at least. I knew it would all be disappointing after that.
  13. I'll give him this...he sure as hell made me love to hate the Dolphins even more.
  14. Well, the real difference being that you don't take every possible stance and then proclaim that you'll stand by it.
  15. That was a better receiving effort than that Seahawks receiver last night. Hail Mary to win the game, ball bounces right off his face mask. Couldn't catch it. And Phat Pat snags a ball rifled right at him?
  16. Whew...thought I was wacko.
  17. I basically have stopped reading TD's sessions. They are, for the most part, unsatisfying and uninformative. He rarely gives a direct answer to a question, and even more rarely provides an informative answer to a question.
  18. Perhaps I'm missing something...how is that a 20% likelihood? Perhaps if it was Jets over Patriots, maybe...
  19. Duh, it's 100% baby.
  20. I thought I would enjoy reading this thread.
  21. From Ask Tom Donohoe: From Ask Mike Mularkey: HINT: These were both yes-or-no questions.
  22. Yes, and that will prove that he did, in fact, stand by that prediction.
  23. WOW! The final Hail Mary hits the Seattle receiver in the face but he can't react fast enough. Holy smokes that was close!
  24. Wow, what a finish. Seattle gets screwed on the TD to Keyshawn, then they screw themselves by allowing the final TD drive.
