Your logic is seriously flawed - if you look at DJ's pay, it is right in line with the other coaches that were hired the same year; those at the top have been hired more recently or are longer tenured.... This is not the most helpful post...

Interesting site after the game: I was at the game today and sat 12 rows behind the Bills bench...what was very interesting was the field was long empty after the game save one or two Jets players doing interviews...Lynch was just sitting on the bench by himself until Duke Preston came over from near the tunnel to grab him and leave.... Gotta wonder what is going through this team right now after this absurd coaching....

Everyone should come off the ledge - even in a loss, it is clear that this is no longer Mularkey's Bills (which is for the better).... What is ashame is how much time was lost by pulling JP so early last season - the growing pains we are seeing now would have been gone if he played more last year. This coaching staff is lightyears ahead of last years - the reality is though this young team will continue to make mistakes while staying close in most games.

There is no doubt this loss is one of the worst of the year.... After expectating to see the Bills embarassed by NE on national TV, the Bills actually put themselves in a position to win. Now, what do the Bills do? 3-5 going into a bye....As someone who applauded the switch to Holcomb as the right move to give the Bills a chance, I can see now the point of going back to JP.. BUT; the Bills did play NE close and NE is certainly beatable. One can see them losing next week to INDY and all of the sudden the AFC east remains very very tight. The Bills have KC next, another team that can is beatable.... Is it time to give JP the ball and say look to 2006? Or can this season still be salvaged and the Bills make a run at the division?

Tasker had a few interesting things to say: 1. JP is for sure the starter; has been working every day with Wyche.... 2. Says that Jennings is the priority in FA; the Bills are very focused on the o-line (he said that McGahee made them look better than they really are currently, dont want to go backwards by losing Jennings)... 3. Predicts that 3-4 teams will look carefully at Bledsoe as a starter.... overall good, solid interview about the Bills on Sirius....

After reading all the posts about the NFL saying they would like to play a home game in Canada (Toronto), its amazing how people jump to the conclusion that the Bills are moving north.... Its a well known fact that the Bills are one of the more profitable teams in the league (see Forbes magazine article showing the finanical picture of each team). The Bills have no debt as a team (compare to other teams that owe over a hundred million dollars on new stadiums), a strong fan base, and a great stadium deal. If you look at current NFL teams, the Vikings and the Saints are in a much, much more precarious postion for remaining in their respective cities. The most important thing to watch in terms of the Bills long term health is the upcoming talks between the player's union and the league regarding revenue sharing. Luckily, (unlike the NHL players), the NFLPA understands that revenue sharing and "cost certainty" (salary cap) is a good thing for players, the smaller market teams, and the NFL as a whole. The Bills are lucky to have Troy Vincent on its team and as a key player in these talks, as he has stated publicly that increasing revenue sharing is a priority for the players in their talks with the owners. In general, we as Bills fans should welcome more efforts to market the team to Southern Ontario; its now well known that the efforts to reach out to the Rochester market have been a huge success and helped save the team in the late 90's.

Just came back from the Marv Levy book signing in NYC- it was awesome....had to wait about two hours to get a book signed, the turn out was amazing.....The bar where it was held kept people waiting entertained by showing the comeback game....
