  1. Helluva first post. Thank you for playing.
  2. Thank you for your input! We now return you to your regularly scheduled Bills bashing.
  3. What do I think? I think I need to get away from this place for a little while.
  4. I say we trade this thread to Detroit.
  5. I'm almost certain this is exactly why we haven't signed anyone else yet. I'm thinking the coaching staff thought he would be the best fit for that spot, and just wanted to wait to be sure there was no other competition for his services out there. The others were likely brought in to have a backup plan in place in case someone else wanted Crow.
  6. There. Fixed that for you. Personally, I prefer not being told what I should think based on your opinion.
  7. As someone once said (and as any trip to the PPP board will validate), "The most futile activity in the world is trying to argue on the internet." Still, I give you props for not succumbing to the insanity.
  8. It's amazing how many different things that clip has been used for. What movie was it from?
  9. SJBF, you have been a voice of reason amidst the tumult of the confused masses.
  10. Every time a thread like this starts, I get hopeful. But I'm always disappointed.
  11. It's true. It's also why teams can take a hit when they cut a player to whom they gave a big signing bonus over a long term contract. Once they're cut, the part of the signing bonus that was amortized to the still-remaining years of the contract get "accelerated" into one big lump at the time of the cut.
  12. It is highly doubtful that Philly would give up both first rounders this year. I agree that Peters is worthy of two first-round picks, nothing less, but that would most likely mean a 1st this year and a 1st next year. Plus, I doubt our management would be excited about the prospect of negotiating three first-round contracts in one draft class.
  13. Personally, if DJ and TS continue where they left off last year and still make boneheaded move after boneheaded move, I will be glad to see someone, anyone, blowing up in their faces on the sidelines. I want it to get ugly. I couldn't take any more of it last year. I wanted to be the one on the sidelines yapping in their faces. If TO can do that for me, pay the guy.
  14. The issue, if you heard Mort on the radio, is that he was placing this move entirely on Ralph. He was basically claiming the players and coaching staff had nothing to do with the move and/or didn't want TO here, and Ralph in his desperation overruled everyone. It now appears that Mort was either making this up or had bad info. That's the issue.
  15. Too bad they didn't cut to Mort at that point. Was it really all Ralph, Mort? Where'd you get that insider info?
  16. He did. He placed the entire responsibility on Ralph, and seemed to go out of his way to make him sound desperate and impulsive. What a surprise. I never really bought into the whole Mort-Bills thing all that much, but I'm really beginning to come around.
  17. Because it's completely pointless. If someone showed you the Miami Dolphins schedule last season and asked you which games you saw them winning, would you have come even remotely close?
  18. Ah, a Utah polygamy joke. How original. That said, Bountiful is a pretty wacky place.
  19. With all of the crazy talk about Owens, I'm not sure if this was noticed. I was listening to John Clayton on ESPN Radio today talking about the TO deal, and he was commenting on how it might impact other signings. He then mentioned LeCharles Bentley and how he's trying to make a comeback from his knee problems, and that the Bills were one of the teams talking to him. That was all, just a quick comment. Interesting. I wonder what impact that might have on Hangartner. Move to Guard if Bentley is able to handle the Center duties?
  20. Ah, sweet irony.
  21. That's good news. Thanks, Tim!
