  1. Aren't we dumb for continuing to pay money to see the remakes? I'm guessing the main reason they keep remaking movies is because they're making money doing it.
  2. Awesome, thanks. I knew there was a thread about this here a while back, but I didn't have the time to search. My comments from that thread still stand. Here is a story filed back in 2007 that talks about some of the distortions in the movie, for starters. Also, here is a story from last month that discusses the brand new Donkey Kong champ, who beat both of those guys.
  3. It was a fun movie, for sure -- but be warned that it received quite a backlash from many of the people involved in the story. It presents itself as a documentary, but it reshapes a lot of the facts to create more drama than there probably was. As documentaries go, it wasn't very true to it material. Still, a fun time. If you're interested in the facts behind the story, I can probably dig up some of the stuff I found a while back when I saw the movie. Oh, and by the way: some dude just recently broke the record. It was just reported, I think, last week.
  4. Yes, but "most of the talking heads don't think it can or will be more than 4."
  5. Went there last year. Can't wait to go back again. Awesome dinner.
  6. Wow, there's a blast from the past. Nice to see you again.
  7. True enough, but that play he made against Dallas on Monday Night was freaking awesome. It kicked ass. Too bad for us there weren't more of those.
  8. Sure, I'd like to see them trade down, too. What I don't want to see is all of the whining that goes on here when they don't, because nobody else wanted to trade up with them.
  9. Happy birthday. Anything special planned?
  10. That's my interpretation, too.
  11. Not that I know of. It's probably much longer than that, my memory isn't so great anymore.
  12. Must have been broken. No drivers needed. I've been using a three-button scroll wheel mouse with my machines for at least 5-6 years now.
  13. Seriously? You still think that a Mac can't use a multi-button mouse?
  14. I went to our campus bookstore on Saturday afternoon and they just got their shipment in. I wasn't planning on buying the 1st gen iPad but after playing with it I couldn't resist. The screen is beautiful, and I'm amazed at how fast I can type on that keyboard. I love being able to flip it on and instantly get e-mail and surf the web from the couch. Total luxury item, but it is nice.
  15. Continue your crusade, by all means.
  16. It just boggles the mind how many times we've crapped the bed on our first round picks this past decade. 2000: Erik Flowers 2001: Nate Clements 2002: Mike Williams 2003: Willis McGahee 2004: Lee Evans, JP Losman 2005: None 2006: Donte Whitner, John McCargo 2007: Marshawn Lynch 2008: Leodis McKelvin 2009: Aaron Maybin, Eric Wood Think about that: out of the last 12 first-round draft picks, only 3 are starters on our team (and two of those are the last two years). Unreal.
  17. There has never been any actual or rumored discussion on this from OBD. Only wishful thinking on the part of us fans.
  18. A bit harsh, but I'll back you on that.
  19. GO BIG RED
  20. We would be lucky to get a 5th for him. Everyone knows he's average at best, and he doesn't fit our system, so it's not like he's in high demand.
  21. OLB and NT are still a big concern, as is their ability as a whole to adjust to a new defense. But I like the way it is headed. If we can find a decent NT, I'll feel a lot better.
  22. For three years, $10 million.
  23. "Interesting" is not the word I would have used.
  24. If we have a decent guy to man the middle, I'm kind of excited to see what he can do as a DE.
