I worked second shift and was home with my young children. I remember listening to WGR and them mentioning a plane hitting one of the towers, but didn't think a lot of it, assuming from the way they were saying that it, it was a small plane that hit. Then the reports of a commercial plane hitting it so I rushed to turn on the TV. I called my wife at work and was describing to her what was happening. It was surreal. Also, want to add that I lived right by the Buffalo airport and was used to hearing planes takeoff and land all the time. With all flights grounded for several days (maybe a week or so?) the silence was eerie not to hear that.

This guy has been haging out by moms house for a few days. Huge. They are usually by the power field next street over, but this one has come down by the trees on either side of my moms. We were hanging by pool today and he decided to chill with us for about 30 minutes.

There is a HBO documentary from last year called The Mystery of DB Cooper. It's really well done and extremely interesting. Highly recommend it.

My wife has been unemployed since last August. She's had taxes taken out of every one of her unemployment checks. The feds gave forgiveness up to $10,200. When we filed our taxes a few weeks ago, tax lady told us NY wasn't sure what they were going to do. Well, we got the call today. No forgiveness from the state. So even though she was careful and had taxes taken out weekly, she went from getting back $100 from state, to owing $450. $550 swing. Thanks NY and psycho Cuomo. Go **** yourself
