  1. this one is becoming good comedy... an offer must be tendered otherwise that player becomes an UFA. By tendering the offer the Bills still hold the rights to jackson I am 100% confident a long term deal is being hammered out for Jackson
  2. the tendser is a formality. To keep Fred from becoming a free agent. He'll get his multi-year deal IMHO
  3. as we sign replacements I beleive we will ax those that are being replaced. No reaspn to ax a guy only to find out you didn't get your replacement in FA
  4. bummin to see Orakpo moving up the draft... He was the DE I was hoping would be there for the Bills
  5. Orakpo has a little bit of everything. He has speed, he has power and he has some moves. Maybin has that elusive 1st step that is very attractive but I agree with your analysis.. he is a project because of his lack of experience.
  6. there is 0 chance we fix our DE position in FA because there isn't squat worthwhile left in FA that would make us better IMO...
  7. Mike Williams part deux... accept this time it is obvious this guy is immature
  8. Tyson Jackson is way to slow to provide the Bills with any sort of pass rush. he is a tweener DE / DT and the last thing this team needs is a slow DE. I would cry if that's who we end up with in any scenario. I'll stick with Orakpo or Maybin. Orakpo is the top DE in many mocks and evaluations after the combine.
  9. they are going to lose Lewis, so my gut says they don't want to lose Scott and Lewis... And C is relatively deep in this draft.
  10. the guy is slow... Has very little DE moves, and doesn't appear to be very strong.... Has no top performances in any combine drill so far... we need some speed and power at the DE position...
  11. Maybin is too small for DE and will lose fluidness if he puts on more weight IMO. Maybin is going to be an 3-4 OLB in the NFL Orakpo over Maybin at DE Orakpo is faster, stronger, heavier, jumps higher etc... I fail to see how Maybin impresses over Orakpo. Maybin is only a top 10 performer in the Vertical Jump and Orakpo beat him in that too. Where as Orakpo, who had started more games in college, has improved every single year in college and is performing better at the combine then Maybin appears to be a much better DE prospect...
  12. boo hiss
  13. If they resign greer McGee could be trade bait IMO Texans have Owen Daniels and they need db'S .. Possibly a reason for getting Greer back is to offload another vet DB via a trade... and Greer is not worth more then 5 million per season. he hasn't done that much in this league to warrant paying that kind of coin too.
  14. I think 99% of Bills fans would completely give up on the Bills if they left buffalo or WNY... I know I would stop watching football all together if the Bills cease to exist in WNY... also the douche who wrote that opinion piece obviously has issues with Buffalo because I don't view Buffalonians the way that person does... Maybe he should get out to the suburbs a little before trashing the entire areas population...
  15. possibly $45 million ... COOL !!!! Hello Haynesworth and Jason Brown... show them the money
  16. If the Bills give the Patriots draft picks for Cassel I will have no choice but to take out the entire Bills FO and I will beat Ralph silly.. No way this franchise could be that friggin stupid... Oh wait we have a history of it
  17. Edwards id doing fine for a 2nd year starter on a team that needs improvement in a few other postions. I personbally do not understand at all why anyone does not think Edwards deserves to reamin the Bills starter. He manages the game well and he is the reason we won many of the games we did win. actually the thought that Edwards is not worth keeping is laughable... I think he's going to be the Bills QB for quite awile personally
  18. the game is won and lost in the trenches IMO, and the Bill sneed help on both the OL or DL.. IMO we should be looking hard at #11 at bolstering the OL or the DL. A DE DT or OT at #11 works for me... but we need to get some solid FA additions just the same
  19. Peters is not one of the best LT's playing the game... The best LT's don't give up 10+ sacks in 13 games... anyone arguing agasnst that fact has desperate blinders on. Until Peters plays LT at a very high level consistently (for more then 1 season) he doesn't deserve to one of the top 5 payed LT's...Maybe Peters shouldn't have held out last year, he in no way deserved the probowl nod in 2009 and he missed camp and a few games and he looked like dog crap for most of the season and probably cost us the playoffs... the Peters love affair is unwarranted, he proved what type of player he really is in 2008
  20. Why would we have to swaps 1st and trade Peters for Boldin.. A probowl LT is worth more then any WR playing the game. In fact Arizona should give us something on top of Peters to take Boldin off their hands
  21. still can't stand him... he'll earn some respect back if he gets rid of the cash to crap BS we are force fed
  22. Obviously he isn't.. He sucked in 2008 and he has become a huge cancer... 11.5 sacks means one thing.. you don't deserve a raise then he has the audacity to tell the media "The reaos you play the game is to make the probowl" Personally I think he deserves a sledgehammer to the balls for holding out in 2008 1 year after an extension was agreed upon.. AND I DON"T CARE what postion he played in 2007 compared to 2008.. You sign an extension you honor it till there is one year left before yuo make your demands. Otherwise don't sign the extension and take your chances. Peters sucked in 2008, and he caused problemes b holding out. I have no problems trading him away for multiple picks if we could sign a player like Gross and draft a highly rated OT if Peters gets a new contract I would make his accept every single incentive in the book
  23. THIS IS HORRIBLE NEWS.. IT MEANS WE ARE STUCK IN CASH TO CAP LAND AND BELOW AVERAGE COACHES BECAUSE WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO GET THE TALENT IN HERE WE DESPERATELY NEED
  24. Peters should have never signed the extension before 2007 if he wanted a bigger raise in 2008. I for one think the guy is a complete douche bag. Yes I'd rather we resign him... but IMHO he is going to be a demanding whiny little wench and he will force us to have to trade him.. because IMO Peters is a me 1st player. His 2008 season was terrible and very unworthy of even being mentioned as a probowler.
