  1. Bernard would have improved our interior DT spot and at 4 mil per seaosn the BIlsl could have jumped all over that... We tried ot trade McCargo last seaosn, wo obviously we want someone else besides him yet not even an invite to Buffalo fro bernard the bottom line is we are not any better then last year in fact we are a tad worse then last year, and yes FA is not over with, but does anyone really have faith in this organization anymore. I don't
  2. this game is won and lost in the trenches.. SO there should never be a year where we are not bringing in a new OL or DL... the Bills desperately need ot replace Dockery now... another case of the Bills reacting before they have a plan
  3. McGee is goner in 2010. Greer would represent the franchise loking ahead. plus if we resign Greer, McGee is trade bait. Better to get something for him now then lose him next year for nothing
  4. Ralph is a doddling old fool who has destroyed this franchise at the way it is percieved throughout the league. We need new ownership and unfortunately that will probabaly be the end of the Bills.... Ralph at 90 evne refuses to make one real good run before he does kick it... and obviously he doesn't care... I hope people go to the HOF for his induction and really embarass him there... he is embarasing the franchise and it is obvious how much he doesn't care about the success of the NBill son the field
  5. how is everyone gonna feel when Coles accepts less money to play for another team ??? then Ralph and FO will blame the city of Buffalo instead of himself for failing to go all out to build a winning team. 30 million left with cash to cap and we can't be bothered to compete for the elite FA's that can make a huge difference
  6. it has nothing to do with the city or the cold it has everything to do with the Owner and the way he runs this franchise, and the fact that we have a coach that everyone knows will not be here after next season Ralph created a mess and it is obvious to the NFL that there are better places to be.
  7. the franchise is a pathetic bumbling dissaster, and the fans are being tortured Anyone remianing optomisitc hasn't been paying attention...
  8. Simmons will be lucky to play football in 2009 achilles tendon will have him out through training camp and it will take most of the season before he gets back close enough to wear he was before the injury achilles tendons are debilitating football injuries. look how long it took Spikes to recover...
  9. I would love to barely squeak into the playoffs.. the Bills offseason plan apparently is to keep missing the playoffs all together
  10. we just shipped out Dockery who was making 7 million a year for us Brown is more then worth it and would make our OL significantly better. Nope we're going after the carolina backup
  11. my money is on Buffalo... until ralph passes away and the frachise is rebuilt bottom to top with ownership that values winning this is what we get what top FA wants to play for dick jauron knowing full well he will not be here after next season...
  12. I agree we need ot draft better but I am equally unwilling to wait 3 more years for this team to draft and develope a playoff team
  13. the team is a joke... a very sad one...
  14. you guys do realize that our OL was better with the additions of Dockery and Walker. Although Dockery was overpaid, it is a testament to how terrible our OL was duing the TD years.
  15. this one is becoming good comedy... an offer must be tendered otherwise that player becomes an UFA. By tendering the offer the Bills still hold the rights to jackson I am 100% confident a long term deal is being hammered out for Jackson
  16. the tendser is a formality. To keep Fred from becoming a free agent. He'll get his multi-year deal IMHO
  17. as we sign replacements I beleive we will ax those that are being replaced. No reaspn to ax a guy only to find out you didn't get your replacement in FA
  18. bummin to see Orakpo moving up the draft... He was the DE I was hoping would be there for the Bills
  19. Orakpo has a little bit of everything. He has speed, he has power and he has some moves. Maybin has that elusive 1st step that is very attractive but I agree with your analysis.. he is a project because of his lack of experience.
  20. there is 0 chance we fix our DE position in FA because there isn't squat worthwhile left in FA that would make us better IMO...
  21. Mike Williams part deux... accept this time it is obvious this guy is immature
  22. Tyson Jackson is way to slow to provide the Bills with any sort of pass rush. he is a tweener DE / DT and the last thing this team needs is a slow DE. I would cry if that's who we end up with in any scenario. I'll stick with Orakpo or Maybin. Orakpo is the top DE in many mocks and evaluations after the combine.
  23. they are going to lose Lewis, so my gut says they don't want to lose Scott and Lewis... And C is relatively deep in this draft.
  24. the guy is slow... Has very little DE moves, and doesn't appear to be very strong.... Has no top performances in any combine drill so far... we need some speed and power at the DE position...
  25. Maybin is too small for DE and will lose fluidness if he puts on more weight IMO. Maybin is going to be an 3-4 OLB in the NFL Orakpo over Maybin at DE Orakpo is faster, stronger, heavier, jumps higher etc... I fail to see how Maybin impresses over Orakpo. Maybin is only a top 10 performer in the Vertical Jump and Orakpo beat him in that too. Where as Orakpo, who had started more games in college, has improved every single year in college and is performing better at the combine then Maybin appears to be a much better DE prospect...
