Its happening again The fact is Rex is supposed to be a great defensive mind. IMO that means he is capable of adjusting his scheme to the talent at hand. He did the exact opposite and tried to shoe horn his scheme in and we regressed massively because of it. I don't know about you but I do not find that type of regression of defense palatable, all that does for me is prove without a doubt that Rex can not adapt, and in the modern NFL you either adapt or you are fodder. I'll watch and I'll root for the Bills like always, but I saw enough last year to lose all faith in Rex and I fully expect continued heart ache and playoff droughts for years to come. Hope I'm wrong but I saw little last year that makes me confident in Rex.

he does no such thing at all. Brady may get more production out of Chris, but Chris will do nothing to make Brady better. Hogan was average and average is what you let go. Now Stephan Charles was a much tougher pill to swallow, but this draft is deep in Stephan Charles type players

I have to agree. Mario was force the year before Rex gets a hold of the Defense and forces the square peg into a round hole. Rex can't adapt and because he can't adapt he will be a short term Bills head coach like all the rest of our recent coaches signing McCoy to big money and killing our cap space in a desperate move to just make the playoffs has also sent us spiraling downwards again. I seriously doubt we are a better team next year... In fact in all these drought years I have never been this uninspired for the offseason... I'm just waiting for the inevitbale lets blow it up and start again campaign.

If Rex is a defensive genius then he shoudl be able to put Mario in a place to be a wrecking force like he was the year before. From what I see Rex is a one trick pony and can't adapt to the personnel. The league with FA and salary cap means rosters are constantly changing landscapes... Therefore any coach who wants to be great simply has to be adaptable. Rex so far has 0 ability to adapt
