The easy button throws were there all game; took them some times times he said no were inexplicable it's even more frustrating when you study the tape; it's worse than you thought I watched an extremely immature QB that didn't run the offense well you become completely aware of the turn-downs, the things he said no to eyes were all over the place, situational awareness was lacking - forcing throws, not embracing the game script it was 17 that was the problem Lots of things are good once we move past the bad.... With the film breakdown, it wasn't Dorsey the easy plays were there. The one INT on the pass to Davis where Whitehead undercut, it was arm arrogance. He had 2 other throws for the first down. On the arm punt INT, he could have ran it (we know), but Knox had a few steps on Mosely for a huge possible gain. The basic breakdown is that, The Jets baited the hero ball out of Allen...

And now that OC and Shea Tierney are in NYC and not here. For whatever reason, Daboll was able to reign in bad Josh amd he listened and that is the big change IMO. We saw Allen get yelled at by Daboll when he was a bone head...I don't see that now... He lobbied for Dorsey, yet here we are...

Lol no and we could actually run the ball too. If you can combine both of those offenses and give Allen fitzys brain....

It's more Josh and wanting TDs instead of just keeping the chains moving. I will give you the play calling at times, but josh has to take what's there and not give games away....

That almost never works out....this is he issue you run into when you hire an HC, if there is any success on the side they aren't specially in, those coordinators get hired on as HCs. That has fallen in KCs favor

And this is where this question comes in, at which point to we reach thus is just who he is and there is no changing it? This is his what, 6th year? There are always conversations about any player if he just does x and gets that fixed and then takes care of y.... At some point they level out and that is who they are... It's likely we get to double digit wins and are in the playoffs. If we don't have the 1 seed or are a wild card team, can Allen beat 4 good to great teams (without self destructing) in a row to win the SB? Can the defense or OL or coaching staff be counted on to do that? It's a stretch isn't it? Lol, no they can't. I don't think they have been effective at it since Chan was our HC. That's like asking can our defense ever not get gashed in the running game?

This is where I am too and it makes perfect sense. I do billieve when the all-22 comes out there will be open guys underneath that he just ignored, again. Same shite different year. If the oc and qb coach do not reign him in, it's up to McD to be the actual HC. Unfortunately what will happen is we will beat up on these lowly teams and this will die down until the next time. My concern is not that we lost one game, the way we lost is a continuation from last year....

This is true, it's been about 8 months since his last bad game; which unfortunately was also that last non-peseason game he played...

Dorsey and Josh are cut from the same cloth, even Daboll was getting reigned in by Sean at times. I had issues with Daboll’s offense at times too.... Firing one coach to keep another rarely works out, but you do lose a lot of continuity on the opposite side of the ball and that appears to be a part of this allen regression. It's not that I'm all on Allen for a bad game, those happen, but as he said same shite different year and that's on him...

I know it will, how often is what I'm curious about and it will be the same site, they are there and he doesn't take them. Not turning this into an anti McDermott comment, but this is what happens when you have a defensive-minded HC vs an offensive-minded one, the offensive guy find success and leaves as an HC. I bring this up not as an argument to fire Sean and to keep Dabs, but it did appear Josh listened to Daboll. I also know our offense had funks with Daboll as well, but this is just feels a lot different.

He's not listening to coaching, on the run where he turned back inside, he should have run out of bounds. McD goes over to him points the finger to his head and says be smart, then Josh tries to hurdle 7 defenders and is still 8 yards short... The OC will take a fall here, but Josh shoulders a lot of the blame. Curious to see what the all 22 shows and if Josh is not taking the underneath stuff again...

6th season and this is now beyond concerning as it is carrying over from last season. This feels like it is a continuing trend and I'm not sure how it gets corrected. When we play the crap teams, this will fade into the background, but this is a big big issue. Josh can say it's his fault, but yet the results are the same...
