I know about mahomes contract, the meme is just hilarious. Most team are close to the cap this year and not crazily over need to do some cap magic, you have a very good gm. I am expecting that you guys will be able to still get some quality players to shore the lime up. Fisher is basically a goner due to his injury timeline and years on his contract. It is well know that Schwartz's back is shot. Ideally this is not the year, given that cap situation, that KC fans would want their team to go through this. If training camps are allowed to be normal, the growing pains of at least 3/5 of your OL will have time to gel. If not, could be a bumpy start to the year while they all learn to play together....

They need make the offense better. I like a Brown, Roberts and McKenzie swap for Samuel a lot. Give me him and an Edge in FA. Sal C and Jeremey from WGR seem to think we love Bates, so I could see us playing him at RT. Edit: this is the same reasoning why I like Reddick, plays coverage LB and lines up to pass rush in those situations. You pay more per year for one player, but he fills 2 spots for the same cost of 2 average meh type players.

I think it might be a little bit, his hit was 2.5m last year. Spotrac shows 2 mil for this year Pats chose uche last year at 60, his hit was 1.2 m. Spotrac shows 1 mil this year Texans chose Greenard last year at 90 he was 1m. Spotrac is showing 865k, not sure that is a figure that hits the top 51. I am not sure if the rookie contracts adjusted down a bit due to last season or not. I am thinking around 3.8m to 4.32m for our hit for rooks...

Just checked spotrac, they were 4.1m over the cap...

He does have a bad back. Wonder if he retires?
