  1. And those are just the guys on IR. The Bengals first-rounder Shemar Stewart held out of camp and then got hurt during the week 2 game. He's been inactive since. People here know about the holdout but not the injury because, just like Hairston, it's not national news like a QB injury.
  2. It's funny how we (and I'm including myself in this) are able to have measured and reasonable takes about the Chiefs and Ravens but not about the Bills. That being said, I don't think the Chiefs can play any harder than they did on Monday night in Jacksonville. They were also gifted 7 points in the first half when Mahomes played the "don't you know who I am" card with the refs. They knew they had to win that game, and they didn't. Mahomes said as much after the game. I know we're all focused on the Chiefs, but we should start paying attention to those Jaguars. They should be 5-0 if not for a horrible DPI call on 4th down on Cincinnati's game-winning drive in week 2. Everyone's focused on the Colts, who should have two losses if not for a huge gift from the refs, but the Jags are talented and well-coached. Back to the original topic. The Bills (the actual team) shouldn't be panicking, but they should be concerned about some things. One thing is how the Pats were able to stop the offense at key moments of the game. I have made arguments on this board this week that people are overreacting and that the Bills and Pats had the same amount of offense in the game, and that the Bills lost due to turnovers and penalties (both called and uncalled). All of that is true. But they also stopped the Bills in or near the Red Zone three times (two FGs and the pick). A team with a QB like Allen needs to get 7 on at least two of those drives. The lack of finish on those drives turned a potential 21 points into 6. The Bills got the ball inside the Pats' 30 5 times and only scored two TDs. There, as much as anything, is your ball game. But let the fans panic. It makes zero difference in the outcome of games.
  3. Does everyone forget that it was already challenged. In 2021, rookie Mac Jones and the Pats led the division until the Bills went into Foxboro and beat them on Thursday night. In 2023, the Bills had to beat Miami in week 18 to win the division. This year is no different.
  4. Russ is one of these “power of positive thinking” people. He always expresses positive thoughts, even when things are obviously not going well. Remember his cringy press conferences in Denver?
  5. The Eagles should throw AJ Brown some passes in garbage time to keep him quiet.
  6. Dart is already yelling at his OL for false starts like he's Tom Brady.
  7. Gotta make the end exciting for the national audience
  8. Eagles got dat Super Bowl hangover, and the Giants are playing like their season depends on this game. Also, Cam Skattebo is a human battering ram.
  9. He has the traits to run that Shanahan system. That always would have worked out.
  10. I can't judge a rookie until their second year. Remember how good Mac Jones looked for a while? But this game is a fun watch.
  11. I like them all. Of the main styles, I actually like NYC the least. It's too thin. The most important part of a pizza is the dough, and the dough in NYC is too thin. You have to fold it in half to even eat it. I like WNY pizza a lot, especially Bocce Club and Picasso's. I also really like Chicago Tavern-style pizza with the cornmeal crust. I like a place called Barnaby's in Northbrook. I know it's not Pizza, but I like the "tomato pies" from Philly. Again, because they are sold in Italian bakeries, the dough is the star of the show. But the best pizza in the world is not served in slices. It's authentic Neopolitan pizza baked in a coal-fired oven with prosciutto. Each person gets their own pizza, and it's eaten with a fork and knife. This is where it all comes from, and it hasn't been surpassed. But the worst pizza is that crap from St. Louis with Provel cheese.
  12. I just meant that they could add any player short of a franchise QB and absorb the entire contract. Not that’s is a possibility.
  13. None of the statements from the players' parents are rumors.
  14. Be ready for this place to explode when the Pats make a huge move. They still have 54 million in cap space. They could absorb Ja'Marr Chase or Justin Jefferson if the Bengals or Vikings become sellers. They could afford Hendrickson AND Olave. They also have an extra 4th and 6th in the 2026 draft.
  15. You know that, and I know that. But do they know that? Remember, all trades are made by coaches and GMs who are trying keep their jobs, and not with the long-term interests of the franchise in mind. Also, the Cards are stuck with Murray for this season and next season due to his contract, so I don't think that they will go into rebuild mode until the 2027 offseason. If Ossenfort and Gannon make trades like you're proposing, it will be other guys that will get to use those draft picks because they'll be fired. This is a general point. NFL teams don't trade all their players for draft picks and prospects like NBA, NHL, and MLB teams do. There are excellent players on teams that have no chance of winning anything because every team is somewhere in the QB development cycle and thinks they are a draft away from the Super Bowl. Also, teams don't trade prospects that they just drafted for established vets.
  16. People here forget how close the Bills were to missing the playoffs in 2021 and 2023.
  17. If this happens again, flop on the ground to get the damn call https://app.screencast.com/zB9OC38j33Kp8
