I wouldn't write the Lions off yet. They have 2 new coordinators so it may take a while for them to get going but the roster is there.

This needs to be moved to the political forum so you guys can yell at each other in a place where I don't have to know that it even exists. I just want one space on the Internet where I can look at football news and escape the horror show that is the world in the 21st century.

I’m in Ohio too. The first thing I do when I hit WNY is get pizza. I would drive all the way from Cincinnati just to get Bocce Club. I like take out wings from LaNova. I get a bucket with half hot and half BBQ. The surprising thing will be just how much better the blue cheese is in WNY than it is anywhere else. I would also walk around Elmwood Village. A lot of nice shops and cafes. But then again I grew up there so that’s the old neighbourhood. If you want local fast food, Elmwood Taco and Sub is really good but Mighty Taco is a local legend. But the best part about being in town is everyone is a Bills fan. Also, go to Wegmans and get a couple reusable Bills shopping bags. They are great conversation starters in Ohio with the Kroger checkout girls. Oh yeah. Get a loganberry! It’s a taste of childhood for Bills fans.

Young busts are good PS additions to see if they are redeemable in some way.

I left for Indiana for grad school and Cincinnati for a job. Nothing sunny about any of it and would move home in a second.

I am a WNYer until I die and agree with everything you say about us. But I see a lot of discussion on here that tends towards "no one wants us because of taxes and snow and we never do anything right." I just assumed those were local people because who else cares about NYS taxes?

I think much of these discussions run deeper than football and are part of a WNY inferiority complex.

The OC and the guy that called those plays is the head coach in Chicago. Who knows what role a "passing game coordinator" plays. The best example was the Rams game last year, when the Bills had clinched the division the week before. Also, what in the heck happened in that Jags game?

Most DEs get burned by Lamar. He has won 2 MVPs doing that.

As I said in the other thread, I usually don't know what I'm looking at but what I see when I watch that is that the Bills were expecting Lamar to run to the left and had contain. That's why Oliver was out there and his rush was delayed.

If you left early, you have to stand at mid midfield at 7:00 pm next Thursday and let the team throw rotten tomatoes at you to hold you "accountable." And then we all get to throw bags of dog poo at McDermott to finally hold him accountable for 13 seconds.

I was so upset about the fact that we were punting at all that I forgot to pay attention to the quality of the punts. The best punt in my opinion is no punt.

You know they spent at least 3 hours in that film room getting chewed out. I almost felt the earth move from McDermott's yelling all the way here in Cincinnati.
