  1. When my son was about 6 months old, he hadn't dropped one in about 3 days. So, on the advice of the doctor, we gave him mashed prunes. We then put him in the car and went to Sam's Club. The results of that are still referred to as the "Sams Club Incident" in our family, and he'll turn 22 next week.
  2. It was an INT because he Tua couldn't see around the 6'7'', 335lb missile running at him. He had no idea where he was throwing that ball.
  3. But even then, they often did what was needed. On a lot of those 3rd and longs, they got Tua off his first read and out of the pocket. I think he made more good throws on the run last night than he has made in his career.
  4. Nobody's talking about one of Josh's best plays. On the last drive after the INT, on second and long, the Fins were playing the DBs deep but brought a lot of pressure. Josh stepped up in the pocket and found Elijah Moore all alone in the gap between the D-line and the DBs and got a 30 yard completion that ended the game. That step up is something that young Josh didn't do.
  5. The Bills' defense, which is getting roasted on here this morning, prevented the moonshots to Hill and Waddle, got Tua off his first read, and forced him from the pocket. That is usually what you want to do against them. The fact that he made plays that he usually doesn't make is what made the game close. As you say in point 10, they were a desperate team last night and Tua played very well. Or at least he did until all 6'7'' and 331 pounds of Deone Walker got in his face.
  6. Now you made me go back and look at that 2013 week 1 loss again. Thanks!
  7. The best chance the Bills had to win the SB was last year. If they had gotten a half inch on one of two questionable spots, they probably make it. Everyone forgets the Bills were 7-6 coming out of the loss at Tampa Bay and had to win out just to make the playoffs. If Matt Ryan hadn't taunted on a play where in fact he failed to reach the EZ, we might have lost at home to a pretty bad Falcons team. We were that close to not even playing in the "prefect game" and the 13-second game. But will it be fun?
  8. These rules are designed to get returns, and nobody has come up with a way to game them. Yet.
  9. This is all good for the whole "winning games" thing, but old Josh was much more fun to watch.
  10. In theory, this is true, but teams are reluctant to try this because if a kicker hits it slightly wrong and the ball doesn't make it to the landing zone, the consequences are pretty dire. The league wants returns, and so far, they are getting them.
  11. But you need to get it to the landing zone in the air. If you just squibbed it like teams used to, its a penalty and the ball is placed on the 40.
  12. Get with the program. People wanted Beane fired for that five pages ago.
  13. He was a full participant this week, so he's a healthy scratch.
  14. Ty Johnson is more likely to score.
  15. I can make another account and play that role. I'll be as real as Spags.
  16. What time does this game actually start?
  17. Well, we all declared him a bust before he ever took a snap, so Gonzalez must be wrong.
  18. The spread is currently Buffalo -11.5. This would be a bigger upset than any game in the 2024 season.
  19. He wasn't on the injury report yesterday, so I would say yes.
  20. I didn't eat anything for a few hours after mine. I felt so clean, I didn't want to mess it up again.
  21. We had just come back from London in that game. That trip really messed up that season.
  22. So others don't have to search for it, they signed Dan Feeney. I'm a very positive fan on here. I just think the only way the Bills lose this game is if they give it to the Fins. That also goes for any good team playing a bad team.
  23. I do see a way that happens, but it requires the Bills to beat themselves.
  24. The Eagles have been false-starting on this play since they started doing it. Jason Kelce used to rock backwards, and then rock forward and downwards as he was snapping the ball. He was into the defensive line and on his stomach by the time Hurts got the ball. I have said that there is no need to ban the play. Just start calling the false starts. That will neuter it.
