Update: Xavier Rhodes signed by Bills
Low Positive replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's just it. I've asked for an example of a team that would withstand an injury to their RT or C and not miss a beat. That have no answer because that team doesn't exist. -
FTFY

Mitch Morse is the lynchpin of this line

Bobby Hart is the OL version of the Mendoza Line. -
The Bills did that in 2020.

Gold Star 5-way? That's a whole lotta onions. On a more serious note, Cincinnati is the only place in the world where can order a kids 3-way in the drive thru and not go to prison.
-
I hope so, but I just don't know if the Bengals can withstand all that blitzing that the Fins do. I've watched all of the Bengals games this year OL has been bad in passing situations and Burrow has poor pocket awareness and holds the ball too long.

Let's fire Beene. -
The thing that bothers me about the Ravens is that nobody in the media says that Lamar Jackson should run less. Josh, who is 3 inches taller and at least 25lbs heavier, is always told to run less. If josh keeps doing that, he’ll end up like Cam. but the smaller Jackson should keep rushing for 100+ yards a game like it won’t take a toll on him.

By the 4th quarter, Knox was in the locker room with an IV in his arm.

The worst thing about all NFL losses is that you have to sit with it for a whole week.

He got hurt in camp with the cards and was cut at the end of August.

NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol
Low Positive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not just Tua. The Fins kept running injured players back out there like it was a playoff game or something. They really felt, probably from ownership on down, that they had to win this game to send a message or because they feel that they had little chance of winning in Buffalo in December. -
The Fins treated it like a SB, trotting injured players out there in ways that will hurt them going forward. McD treated it like a week 3 road game. We still almost won.

They’re gloating over a 2 point win at home?

I just don’t know if I want the Bills to run the ball enough times to “establish a run game.” I just looked at the stats for the Colts/Chiefs game. JT had 22 carries for 78 yards. If that was a QB stat, it would be horrendous. All running-heavy teams have similar stats. In 2022, it just seems inefficient. I would agree that we need to improve our ability to pick up 1-2 hard yards with RBs.

Somebody just needs to put it in a Tik Tok or an episode of Stranger Things and all the kids will “discover” it.

Don't know about that, but we was at Sycamore HS at the same time as Rose Lavelle (USWNT Midfielder) so he may know her.

315lbs from Cincinnati, so he also knows how to mess up a large 4-way from Skyline.

It wasn't Van Roten snapping him the ball on the goal line in the 4th. That was Greg Mancz, a PS guard playing out of position at center. -

Not only that, but he wasn't going to start here and he would have been a PITA about it. We upgraded with Bates and Saffold anyway. He's the starting center on what will be a rebuilding NYG team. Good for him. -

OL is certainly on the list of positions you can take high. It goes: QB EDGE/pass rush OT CB WR/Pass-catching TE -

Everything you say is absolutely true. But the fact that the evaluation is so difficult makes the bust rate for OL higher than at other positions. -
Miami did use the Jacksonville strategy. Just get Buffalo to play a bunch of backup and PS OL and you have a chance. Also make sure that the center is playing out of position. That's they key part of the strategy.
