Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Low Positive replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure, but Baltimore has even less cap space than the Bills and they still have to, in theory, pay Lamar. -
And J'amar Chase and Derrick Henry and Justin Herbert and Justin Jefferson and Devonte Adams and .... That list was last updated sometime during the 2019-2020 season.
-
Is someone actually upset about this? It's a static HTML list, not an indication of player performance or popularity. Also, judging by the names on the list, it was last updated in 2019 or 2020.

DHopkins would cost a 2nd round pick...would you do it?
Low Positive replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
That 3rd is in the 2024 draft. -
I think its bad for Lamar because the QB market was just reset again, and the full-guaranteed contract that Deshawn Watson got has been shown to be an aberration, not the new norm like Lamar has been arguing.

Are the Bills planing on trading up?
-
Exactly. Walter needs to get himself over to Squarespace and modernize that site. It’s hard to take anything seriously on a site that looks like a geocities site from 1998. Or just use Wordpress. Or even Google Sites.

the posters on TBD tend to skew older. They want a white LB with a mullet and a neck pad, like it was 1995. Edmunds was a modern LB and was hated here because he is a coverage LB and not Shane Conlin.

Bills Pre-Draft visits per Walter Football
Low Positive replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the advent of video conferencing platforms like Zoom, teams could meet with a player without anybody knowing unless the player leaked the meeting. -
Easy to trade Hill when you still have the greatest TE in the history of American football.

The most important missed play of the season was Josh's overthrow of Diggs in the Cincinnati game. Dorsey schemed Diggs wide open and josh overthrew him by 5 yards. You can see it here. This is all on Josh.

That is a heck of a basket to have your eggs in though. -
Woody Johnson is not getting any younger. He's driving all of this.

I like Gabe a lot and hope he stays, but it has to be noted that he got 20% of his yards and 29% of his TDs in a single game.

Yes, that is correct. -

Brandon Beane doesn’t care about winning next season. Last year he went all in and failed. This year, our division rivals are going all in and we’re making marginal improvements. I’m usually a very positive poster, but the whole world can see that the Bills need improved at the WR position and Beane shuffled the deck chairs on a sinking ship. And this year’s draft doesn’t have a star at WR. I don’t see a positive outcome here. -
McDermott "officially" calling D plays
Low Positive replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
People who say "The Great Andy Reid fired McDermott" always fail to mention that the great Andy Reid was fired the very next year by the Eagles. He used McDermott as a scapegoat to keep his job for one more year and the D got worse. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Low Positive replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. For a guy that doesn't have an agent Lamar sure as heck has a lot of agents. -

Bill Belichick Todd Bowles Dennis Allen DeMeco Ryans is probably going to call the plays in Houston Outside of BB, not the best list. It must be noted that this might not work, and it would not be unheard of for this to change before week 1. He has someone on the defensive staff that has called plays in the NFL before so a change could happen after he sees how it goes in the preseason. Brian Daboll intended to call the plays in NY, but ended up handing that to Kafka.
