  1. Dane Jackson would be on IR if he was going to be out that long.
  2. What the heck was McCarthy thinking in that whole sequence.
  3. Well, Cowboys just ran on 3rd and 12 and picked it up.
  4. One week ago right now we were spanking the Titans. Feels like a year ago.
  5. They should do it like Battle of the Network Stars. Rowing races and tug-o-wars.
  6. Keep firing coaches and you end up with offensive genius Nate Hackett.
  7. It's like people forget 2020, when we were always flat in the 3rd and Josh was the king of 4th quarter comebacks.
  8. I think we get one when they return to practice tomorrow.
  9. I don't know what the heck is going on, but all we did was win close games in 2020. Same coaches.
  10. I'd like to think he's happy listening to Dave Murray and Adrian Smith play harmonized guitar riffs and sweet melodic solos.
  11. But we are favored on the road, at least according to the betting odds.
  12. He'll be back after the bye week most likely.
  13. Has "Lamar Jackson can't pass" replaced "Edmunds needs to be benched" as the TBD thread derailer?
  14. If we had lost one more OL, a TE would have had to go in at guard. That's how bad it was. That's why the game was lost.
  15. Cowherd is from the Skip Bayless school of bad takes.
  16. What he said before the game is that goal line snaps are hard because the entire D is crashing the line and the player that the center has to block is on him before the ball is even out of his hand. It takes a lot of practice to finish the snap before engaging in the block and a guard has no experience doing that.
  17. I don’t know why they did that in the Titans games, but Eric Wood said in the pre-game show that goal line snaps under center are the hardest ones.
  18. @IronMaidenBills has me going through old Pats seasons and every year except the undefeated one there were close regular season losses during the Brady/Belichick years. And in that undefeated year, they lost the SB by 3 to a 10-6 Giants team. So yes, the greatest coach in NFL history does lose “these types of games.” All teams do. If close losses didn’t happen NFL football would be boring like Alabama-Citidel games.
  19. Steelers-Patriots 2018. Pats had the ball, down by 7 at the end of the game. The Pats turned it over on downs. https://www.espn.com/nfl/recap?gameId=401030956
