  1. I hear voices in my head, so I'm not worried about a football game.....
  2. Irsay must be all coked up right now, someone call him and trade him Jackson for a 1st round pick.
  3. damn, that's insane. sucks to be a Colts fan right now.
  4. wasn't targeted on the passing game, but he was active as a blocker, he threw a key block (same as Duke Williams) on the McKenzie TD.
  5. The pass to Beasley (that he fumbled) on third and long was beautiful Two ugly passes were an out to Beasley, the ball was behind and very low, timing route that didn't work. The rub/pick to Zay was a bullet, Zay didn't have a chance. The int that wasn't because of a weak roughing the passer penalty, shouldn't have happened. He was being pressured going backwards, really bad decision. He looked sharp on the TD drive to end the half.
  6. I liked the run concept on Shady's big run (the collarbone penalty) We were in shotgun and the two WR close the OL vacated the area taking their routes towards the middle of the field, Shady just had to run through the big hole Long and Ford created.
  7. Roberts just knows how to get positive yardage, he's good Penalties were awful, all night Lacey and even Darryl Johnson made some nice plays. (that I noticed) Bolden JR and McKenzie fumbled the ball, ball security was bad. Bolden lost the ball and the Lions scored a FG. As usual, we score a TD on a two minute drive and we surrender a long return on the ensuing kickoff. It seems we tend to relax or something. We need a new punter, sign Ryan Allen and cut one of the Corys' the new coach has his hands full going into the season.
  8. The run defense was great, but we lost track of Hockenson via pass in the second quarter and surrendered a TD on a rub/pick route. (Milano) I saw Darryl Johnson playing some with the first unit in the first quarter, nice to see they gave him some oportunities, Mike Love played some in the second quarter at RDE. They are given chances to make the roster. Wallace needs to learn how to tackle, he could have hurt his ribs on that "tackle attempt" on a TE. Otherwise he had a superb recovery that prevented a sure TD. The pass rush wasn't there except on a 4th down play that we were able to pressure Stafford. (turnover on downs)
  9. I would never trade expensive assets with a divisional rival.
  10. outside of the really bad plays on offense (fumble, int by Josh and penalties) it is clear they're not showing a lot tonight.
  11. awful "tackle" attempt by Wallace, injures himself.
  12. Josh, get mad, throw a TD
  13. that was a stupid decision, kid
  14. no holding on the OL, a win...
  15. damn, nice recovery by Wallace
  16. great pass by Allen, but Beasley fumbles the ball.
  17. and the great news is that his college position was RDE and with us he has played almost exclusively as LDE and he has done a fantastic job so far. This coaching staff must love his versatility.
  18. RB position Shady Gore Singletary they are locks to make the roster, then TY Yeldon had some nice receptions for first downs and didn't cough up the ball, that's a plus, but he has zero phyisicality as a runner and goes down at first contact. I know is late in his career but he should have switched to WR in his rookie year. Murphy he's decisive as a runner and hits the hole hard, I really like him and Wade has shown some really nice flashes of playmaking ability. Perry had a bad fumble but out of the last four RBs mentiones he's the one that offers more versatility to the roster, given that he's a good ST player.
  19. two years too late, but we'll take it.
  20. They both looked good last night. Murphy had a couple of nice runs where he cut and went downhill quickly hittting the hole or the first down marker. Perry had a very difficult catch where he showed good balance, he could make it on special teams, but it's a long shot having Roberts as the ST veteran.
  21. I like Cam Phillips, he looks more like a WR than McKenzie or McCloud, but those two are very explosive and can return punts and kicks. McKenzie showed last night why they traded for him. Those three players will have to battle for that last spot at the WR depth chart (the sixth spot) Brown Beasley Jones Roberts Foster
  22. That's a catch, and a great one
