  1. in terms of pure statistic purpose, sure, but Allen had a sure TD to Brown but he locked on Beasley. When he saw Beasley was covered, he double clutched and then he noticed Brown was open, throwing with only his arm (bad mechanics) the Jet defender jumped all over his pass (that he dropped) Allen needs to learn from those plays as well. I know people try to protect Allen from a bad statsheet but this year is also a work in progress, differente than last year, but a work in progress all the same. I have no doubts that he will get better.
  2. Good observation regarding Daboll's words. We as fans, are subjective most of the times, we can excuse Allen or throw him under the bus as our bias see fit but it's important that the guys in his ear, whether it's Daboll or Ken Dorsey, remain objective and to the point of the things he needs to get better at. Taking care of the football should be priority, and I'm sure Allen will learn from Sunday's game. For example, it was second down when Dawkins gets beat and Josh fumbles the ball, instead of trying to escape a sure sack, the priority has to be protecting the ball and live to fight another battle, a positive play on third down might put us in a position to score, at least, a FG.
  3. only two pre-snap penalties: (that I can remember) false start on Ty Nsekhe and off-side on Hughes no penalties on special teams, though there were zero returns I can live with that.
  4. why would you trade a 1st round pick and 5th round pick when your scouts & Beane can find a guy like Singletary in the 3rd round? I know they won't always bat 100% but I'm confident they can spot talent in the draft.
  5. no way he does, it's his team...
  6. Barkley should be a challenge and Eli is a veteran QB, it will be a tough game.
  7. 1'21'' mark and on third down to make the play more impressive.
  8. Clearly, one of the better players on the field today. The bullet he caught on the middle of the field with a guy all over him was a thing of beauty and something we really have missed for a long time from our #1 WR.(the play where Beasley was held on by the facemask) Ran some nice crossers where he kept his defenders 3 yards away. It says in the game log that he was targeted 10 times, caught 7 balls but he didn't have a single drop.
  9. I thought that was a product of having Tannehill as your QB. I think Darnold has way more potentinal than Tanny.
  10. I was scared of Darnold, but he and Gase insisted on playing small ball.
  11. Still, the guy is tough to bring down, there were a couple of times our guys bounced off of him.
  12. maybe not, but one flag negated a really bad int and he should have been intercepted by #20 near the goalline. He had subpar game even though his percentage was good. Had a great drive on his rushing TD and TD to Brown, he needs to get a lot better. The offense should feature John Brown more.
  13. the guy is electric
  14. John Brown Shaq Lawson Oliver Singletary McDermott
  15. good game from him, though he needs to put his arms up (ala Shaq) when he isn't blocked.
  16. WIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!! GO BILLS!!!! lot's of work to be done on offense. John Brown is legit, he should be featured more.
