  1. Hughes is not #58 from Denver or #52 from Oakland but I think this year he has sacrificed production and stats for the betterment of the team, or to accomodate other players in the system. With Pettine, Schwartz and in Ryan's first year Hughes would play almost exclusively from the right side of the formation as DE or LB standing up. Nobody can dispute the production he had there, at times he was playing at elite level. This year, Lorax and Shaq are playing the right side and Hughes is playing from the left side of the formation. Maybe his technique is not as prolific rushign the passer from the left as it is from the right. Still, the 3 man rush poses no threat to the opposing QB. a group of 5 good OL will always neutralize 3 defenders.
  2. EJ was awfully inconsistent but could throw with anticipation at times. TT takes care of the ball, has great wheels and throws the receiver only when he's wide open. Zero instincts for the position, zero anticipation.
  3. I agree, tired of seeing bad QBing from this team.
  4. and to think... 24-9...................
  5. throw the ball.................
  6. Tyler Dunne ‏@TyDunne 40m40 minutes ago Tyrod Taylor had Marquise Goodwin wide, wide, WIDE open for a 73-yard touchdown on a post route there. Didn't see him. Scrambled. or this one, or the other.....
  7. Do we really want a WR that can't get the ball when his QB is Drew Brees and his OC is Sean Payton?
  8. Do you have a gif of Shady's fumble in the red zone or the BS flag on Robey?
  9. http://smokinjaycutler.tumblr.com/ http://sportsmockery.com/2015/05/smokin-jay-cutler-the-most-apathetic-looking-athlete-in-sports/ https://es.pinterest.com/explore/smokin-jay-cutler/ About bringing and paying Cutler as a franchise QB, hell no. Bring him to compete for a roster spot at a reasonable salary, mabye.
  10. I liked the contributions some of the rookies had in yesterday's game. J. Williams converting an important 4th and 1. I like that the coaches trust him on some 3rd downs where he has to pass protect, rare for a rookie. Seymour having a pass break-up, IIRC on third down.
  11. 1. good game by Gilmore, got a ball from many fans today. 2. What to do with TT? He's a playmaker that, at times can pass the ball while taking great care of the ball. It became frustrating watching him play today in the first half (sans the plays his OL didn't give him a chance). Some boo birds by the fans today 3. Like Dareus and Shady, Sammy is super talented, let's hope he gets healthy and helps this team win games. 5. I know Cujo is Glenn's back-up and seems to be more natural at LT, but why can't he play some snaps at RT? What do we have to lose? He plays at RT and if Glenn goes down he slides to the left and then you play Mills. 6. Refs sucktitude and too many commercials are good reasons to stay away from the NFL product. 8. Sometimes I wish this defense wasn't so complicated. You can't let a guy like Bortles run free for 3 first downs in a game. We play a lot man coverage, so me thinks the DL plays with no discipline. It's great to sack the QB but it's more important to get the D off the field on third down.
  12. That thought crossed my mind, but I noticed that he's only rushing the passer from left side of the formation against the RTs. It's like his rushing mechanics are better when he's lined up against the left tackle, as odd as that may sound.
  13. and again, can't understand we didn't play him much against the Bengals. More of Hunter and less of Harvin & Goodwin, please.
  14. they really suck. The back ref really did see the Jag player stepping out of bounds but didn't signal the play until they other judge (that was farther from the play) called the play as a completion, we had to burn a challenge for it, Lots of holding on Kyle Williams and Dareus, no calls.
  15. of course, he's awesome.....
  16. Dareus Gilmore Shady Seymour J. WIlliams
  17. good luck with that... this D sucks
  18. better remind the players and coaches..
  19. the OL is giving him plenty of chances to make plays....
  20. it's impossible to have that much time and not have someone open
  21. kicking off short, stupid decision, moreso with the new kick-off specialist
  22. good way to invite them in again, wtf was that kick-off?
  23. all Shady, made two defenders look stupid
