Agree with you don't tear down the house if there is a repair needed you fix it. On the taxpayer thing, we paid for we paid for new "houses" for the Knicks, Nets, Yankees, Mets and tried like hell to for the Jets. So as long as Albany is going to fit a big hunk of the bill let em.

This guy isn't even hiding the fact that he doesn't give a **** when he says he played with it last year but he's not going to this year. I think Russ and Doug are trying to "politely" point out that they need him and he just blows it off. Bills are screwed now because if they try and trade him they will get 50 cents on the dollar because other teams know that he doesn't want to be here and won't play. If they keep him he will sit and collect his 7mil and laugh. As my dad would have said... what a smuck!

This is a big stretch but I thought of the Jim Kelly QB keeper against the Dolphins at the end of the game that showed the Bills of his era were in it to win it! Thanks EJ!

I'm sure it doesn't help that in three years he's had three different DC's, three different schemes and a revolving door of players around him. Also if the secondary can't cover he doesn't get much time to get up field to the QB. But the running up the middle last week was a disappointment to this accountant! (I'm sure as hell not a football expert.. )

I guess I differ in opinion. I think Brandon has been pretty transparent from the start and has a plan. That started with the transsition from Buddy to Whaley at GM and the hiring of Marrone. The draft must have been well thought out as every player drafted was on the squad yesterday except the injured Hopkins. Sure I was ticked yesterday but think about it... wasn't it nice to see a QB that can throw into the end zone with accuracy and a touch! A spiral?, I thought only the opposition did that anymore. EJ is young but seemed confident and didn't leave his wide receivers out there to get killed with lousy pass's on every throw. Then there's Kiko ... he was all over the damn field and big on the goal line stand (that seemed the first in years.) You want to blame someone don't blame Russ Brandon, how about BIG Mouth Stevie who catches more flys with his mouth then he does footballs with his hands! Also CJ and Chandler had bad games... For once I think this team will be ok in the long run.

I guess I was thinking real d-1 like the BIG or ACC where you could get 70,000 peeps to come to a game.

Sure has been a while since we had one of these new stadium threads...lol. 1) IMHO if they ever build a new stadium it isn't going to matter where they build it, there is no way a Super Bowl is ever coming! The big corporate bucks want to be someplace so they can blow a lot of money on their clients and live the life of luxury and WNY is not what they are looking for. 2) most likely a new stadium will come with PSL's, let me know how many Bills fans are going to pony up $10,000 for the privilege to buy tickets.3) Who gives a **** about the view? If the team sucks nobody is going to say "well at least we got to see the lake"! 4) PTR's UB idea is intriguing, maybe The Bulls would then go div1 with football and that would get SUNY bucks along with other state funding in the mix. Easy access of I-86, lots of farmland to build it on, 2 hours from Syracuse and Rochester, 3 hours from Buffalo and Albany!

I'm sure the league has liability insurance so this isn't coming out of their wallets. So it pry cost them their deductible and a big increase in insurance premiums and guess what? That will most likely be a cost of doing business so it will count against the cap and lower that. Voila! They lose little.
