  1. This is such a great team to watch, on and off the field. Who was the third player singing (not Dawkins or McKenzie)?
  2. This obviously sucks, but the silver lining is that he's expected to make a full recovery by next season. Neck injuries are no joke.
  3. I have no issue standing the whole game, but it has to be everyone or no one. If the people in front of me are standing, but the people behind me are not, that's a problem and the people who are standing need to sit down.
  4. So I screwed up. I was eyeing the Jets game on 12/11 and saw a ton of good, reasonably-priced seats all throughout the summer, but held off to wait to see how things played out. Tickets still aren't crazy for that game, but I hate the idea of spending a lot of money this far out for a December game when I live 8 hours away.
  5. I was in the end zone that day and and probably hugged more random strangers during that three hours than I have in the 32 years since then combined.
  6. Imagine leaving Buffalo after year two of the Rex and Rob Ryan debacle and coming back now. I get that we had talent at both the RB and OL positions back then, and Tyrod was an upgrade over most of the QBs during the drought, but in terms of culture and enthusiasm it's going to be a 180 degree change for him. Just the fact that FAs want to come here now is a total turnaround since then.
  7. If Dorsey really was being courted by so many teams, I'm guessing that the Bills stepped up financially. Obviously having #17 was a draw, but at some point money talks. No more "Ralph is cheap!"
  8. The only way Dorsey leaving makes any sense is if he's not offered the OC role. Otherwise he'd be leaving to take a lateral position with a lesser QB and weaker all around team.
  9. Has anyone ever sat in the family section at the stadium? I haven't been to a game in years, but want to take my 10 year old daughter this year. She's not sheltered, so I have no problem with typical stadium behavior, just so long as it's not totally over the top. We're also traveling from DC and I want to show her what it means to be part of a truly passionate fan base, so I also don't want to sit somewhere without a lot of energy. Any suggestions?
  10. He was the first coach I remember from when I started following the team. RIP
  11. I remember going to some games in the 90s when there absolutely was a home weather advantage at play. The two games that come to mind are Week 15 in 1990 when Frank Reich clinched the division after Kelly got hurt against the Giants, and the game three weeks later when Kelly came back and ran the Dolphins off the field in a 44-34 win that wasn't nearly as close as the score implies. I understand that there's not really a home team weather advantage any more as players move around more and don't grow accustomed to different climates (and because warm weather clothing is now a lot more advanced), but it will still be sad for me when they build a dome (which is probably the right call).
  12. You're not alone. I'm guessing the DA factored that into the decision not to bring charges. I hope he gets the help and treatment he needs to get well.
  13. Did they have to pay extra for his full body tattoo?
  14. We should trade the #12 pick to the Browns for Tyrod. Otherwise, TSW is going to be one boring place!
  15. A third rounder for a guy they were going to cut anyway? Wow!
  16. This was word for word the first thought that popped up when I saw the headline.
  17. I doubt it will happen, but the best case scenario to me is that a team ahead of us in the draft decides that McCarron is the answer and passes on a QB in the first round.
  18. Just like Jim Kelly, Eric Woods' final game was a wild-card loss to the Jags.
  19. Looks that way. I actually didn't have a problem with him leaving the Bills rather than work under Marv as GM. That was an awful decision by Wilson. That said, I'm not sure how many more chances Mularkey is going to have.
  20. Keenum made some terrible throws. Just incredibly poor decisions. And the last one was mostly just busted coverage. I'm not saying he played poorly, but he wasn't the reason the Vikes won.
  21. How did it take 10 posts before someone pointed this out? Following this logic, the Steelers shouldn't have let Cowher walk in 2006.
  22. I'm not going to go out of my way to watch, but I'm sure I'll catch parts of all four games. I honestly don't have the foggiest idea what's going to happen in the NFC.
