Frank Gore, not LeSean McCoy given odds for rushing title
keepthefaith replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't be shocked either but on the other hand the now crowded backfield and McCoy being in the last year of his deal might be a large enough motivator for him to come to camp very determined and prepared. It'll be interesting for sure. -

It's more fashionable to bash health ins companies, oil companies and banks. They're often led by and donate to republicans. Universities are part of the protected class by the left and by the media. Math doesn't matter in those circles. -

Both the borrowing and the lending at this level are ridiculous. From a credit standpoint it's worse than the mortgage meltdown of '08. At least those loans were somewhat secured by a piece of property. In the case of student debt, it's secured only by the Federal government since 2010 with no other collateral needed. So right on the heels of Fannie/Freddy, Obama and the dems create a new fed loan program and ratchet up the unsecured lending. Sounds very familiar. College for everyone just like home ownership for everyone. This time though, there are no evil banks on which to lay blame. -

Heck ya, would seem like the obvious place to go for the money right libs? Those evil money grubbing Universities making and hoarding obscene profits on the backs of some of our most vulnerable citizens, poor college students. Look at the endowment balance for US universities, over $500 billion as of 2015. That'll make a nice dent in the debt. Tax it at 90% or whatever tax rate libs want on the rich these days. https://nces.ed.gov/fastfacts/display.asp?id=73 -
Trump foreign policy

No it was Crinton -
Wasn't aware there was a statute on the books, but tough to prove if someone is married for years? Probably rarely prosecuted like all things immigration. I know of 2 instances of this very very local to me. Neither prosecuted, both divorced after some years. Both ex's now citizens. Yes and it sounds like she's guilty of that or of false tax filings.

Trump foreign policy

If we learn that they have acquired nuclear weapons on Trump's watch then we can be pissed. Until then let's see how it plays out. Iran has big problems as a result of the sanctions and that noose is getting tighter. -

Trump's been a very stand-up guy on Iran. He campaigned on getting out of the agreement, he did. He couldn't impose sanctions on Iran without violating the agreement so he exited the agreement and told everyone why. He's kept his word. Had he stayed in the agreement which was a 10 year deal as I recall, Iran would have been well positioned at that point to build a bomb. He's working to deter that. -
If she in fact married her brother or anyone else for immigration reasons, who was the beneficiary of that? Her or the "husband"? Legally I don't think there is anything illegal about 2 people getting married so that one can become a U.S. citizen or acquire a visa more easily. It happens frequently. It's another abuse of the system.

2020 is becoming the great giveaway competition on the left, not that it wasn't obviously predictable but watching it rollout is hysterical. With so many candidates a nice matrix with each giveaway check marked and footnoted might be helpful for dem primary voters. -

The Harris quote from the article: “I believe our country wants and needs some leadership that provides a vision of the country in which everyone could see themselves.” WTF does that mean? -

I wouldn't go that far but agree he has maneuvered around the media fairly often. He could do a lot better though by simply going on TV + streaming + twitter every month with cogent fact based presentations on his highest priorities such as resolving illegal immigration. The facts supporting most of his policy positions are very much on his side. With Congress having something like a 20% approval rating, he could publicly contrast a more business-like approach to problem solving from the petty gamesmanship of politicians which would IMO win over a larger portion of the public including Dems. It's simply not his persona, and his support will always be very limited by his demeanor. He could be significantly more popular and much more effective as a leader if he ever figures this out and adjusts his style.
