  1. Agree that Trump runs his mouth and that is why I doubt he wins the nomination. Someone more disciplined will win IMO, but if Trump does get the nod I think he will take a lot of Dem voters from Hillary. In part because he won't be afraid to attack her weaknesses which are many and also because he appeals to working class voters who want immigration and the economy fixed. He's still got plenty of time to become a more serious and more disciplined candidate but I doubt he will because he would have done that by now. Jeb and Carson not likely to get the nomination so Hillary's competition will be likely be among Cruz, Rubio and maybe Fiorina. Carson looks to be fading.
  2. I'd settle for less than proof. How about a good supporting argument?
  3. He only wins the nomination if he cuts his hair and starts speaking like a shrewd, seasoned and capable businessman.
  4. Could be. He's got a Nobel Peace Prize. What else can he do? His hands are tied.
  5. I think many are sympathetic to Bill cheating. Would you want to wake up next to Hillary every morning?
  6. So your fear about Trump is that he'll order massive military attacks around the world without the Congress making a declaration of war?
  7. Sure, and the Bills could beat the Patriots tonight in Foxboro.
  8. I'd say that Canadian's are whacked if the same kind of **** weren't happening here too.
  9. Sure I could. He's not my choice among the R's but his ideology and principles are far superior to Hillary. What are you afraid he'll do if elected? Secure the border? Cut some spending? Address SS deficit? Be too tough on ISIS? Tell the Chinese to F-off? Yes. I was a registered conservative when I lived in NY state. Illinois has no conservative party choice so R now.
  10. Yeah, but the real story is republicans besting Hillary head to head. It's nice to have several choices on the right, any of which can win.
  11. So now we're justifying bad behavior by comparing other bad behavior?
  12. Some have spoken out but not enough IMO. On the other hand, we have thousands of Turkish soccer fans that booed and chanted other disrespectful words (including Allahu Akbar) during a moment of science for the Paris attacks. Add to that Obama's comments and others that speaking poorly of Muslims helps ISIS recruit. Pretty flimsy religion if you ask me when criticism can cause some to choose a life of evil and others blatant public disrespect after such evil is carried out.
  13. Too easy to defeat that. How about a permanent yellow dot on the forehead?
  14. Liberals should support this. It's just another example of giving a particular group of people special treatment or benefits.
  15. It hasn't worked because the effort has been weak. The tragedy here is that all nations being targeted and those in the region haven't pounced on the terrorist groups to wipe them out. Shows a real lack of principles and a lack of the capability to do so. The hard truth is that there are only a few militaries on earth that can do the job and none are fully engaged at this time. For me there is no middle ground. Either stay the !@#$ out of the region or full speed ahead on taking them out. If I thought 2 ocean's would protect us, then I'd say stay the hell out but ocean's won't do it. The U.S. lacks an effective strategy to keep bad people out of this country and to get rid of them abroad. We aren't doing either well right now.
  16. A s s h o l e s created ISIS. There is no rational justification or explanation. The faster they are all killed the better.
  17. "The fundamental transformation of America". This is just another piece in Obama's puzzle.
  18. Let's elect Trump but with a pre-condition that he resigns after 2 years. He'll come in and tackle immigration and start beating the snot out of Isis and work on the economy. After 2 years he gives way to a more polished and measured VP. Ryan becomes the new VP.
  19. It's all bull ****. She's knows what's going on but the only semi-viable defense is not knowing. This Justice department exists only for civil rights and political battles.
  20. Newly elected Canadian PM Trudeau wants to take in 25K refugees. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trudeau-syria-refugees-settlement-groups-1.3291959 Obama threatens to veto house bill to improve refugee screenings. Just like our southern border, Obama doesn't care who comes in. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/11/18/obama-threatens-to-veto-bill-strengthening-syrian-refugee-screening/?intcmp=hpbt1
  21. Very appropriate observation although in Obama's case he frequently veils his true feelings IMO. The veil is often thin but I think if the guy ever publically exposed his true feelings or positions on most issues, most Americans would be livid. Even most Democrats.
  22. Terrible shame. Flutie's play in Buffalo still puts a smile on my face. Best wishes to Doug and his family.
