I was curious why we've played in KC 3 years in a row and why we played in TEN 3 years in a row from 2019 - 2021. You'll need your thinking caps on for this one. It has to do with how the schedules are structured ... it's based one 8-year and three 6-year cycles that overlap. The 8 year cycle are the NFC games. We rotate NFC divisions over 4 years (North, East, West, South from 2022-2025). We play 2 teams at home and 2 on the road. Over the next 4 years, we play divisions in the same order but switch home and away. Therefore, over an 8 year cycle, we play every NFC team home and away. We play other AFC divisions on a 6 year cycle. (North, West, South from 2022-2024 ... 2 home, 2 away, then switch the next 3 years). Again, we play every non AFC East team home and away over a 6 year cycle. Each year, we play 2 other out of division games against AFC teams who finished the same position (ie; 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th) in the other 2 divisions that we're not playing. These are determined by a six year cycle which are off set by one year: Out of division game 1: South, @North, West, @South, North, @ West). (2022-2027) Out of division game 2: @West, South, @North, West, @South, North). (2022-2027) What ends up happening is a 6 year cycle where we potentially can play 3 games against the same team on the road followed by 3 at home. Against KC, we played them in Buffalo in 2020 when we played the entire AFC west. The next 2 years, we both won or division, so we had @West (KC) in 2021 & 2022. in 2023 we play the entire AFC West, but this time we play in KC. The good news is that assuming KC and Buffalo keep winning their divisions every year, they have 3 straight in Buffalo (2024-2026). Because of this, we also played @TEN 2019-2021. We've also played @CIN in 2022 & 2023. We'll play them again in CIN in 2024 if we both end up winning our divisions in 2023 (or both 2nd, etc...) There's one additional 8-year cycle which determines the 17th game against another NFC team ... but that's not important.

Concerned. Very concerned. We were playing soft and letting them catch everything underneath. Very few contested catches

Updated scenario for scheduling to be voted on Friday
damj replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe so. It says if the Bills qualify for the Championship as a road team which would be the case if the Chiefs win or we lose. This would be at a neutral site If KC loses and we win; then we would be the home team (clear #1 seed) and host the game. -

I appreciate your sentiment. The team might want to play out for him -

I am in shock right now. This is awful. I don't even want this game to continue -

I'm old enough to remember when field goals were 3 points, not 13.

Yeah, well Santa said you were a bad boy this year. Lucky the Bills won

Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)
damj replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've never had problems visiting other stadiums, and generally most interactions are positive. When I see visiting fans at New Era, I always treat them well, unless they're jackwagons, then I just ignore them. -
I'm man enough to admit I was wrong. In 2018, I was a wr.... ... oh, would you look at the time. Gota run!

Wouldn't It Be Cool If Knox Keeps Emerging?
damj replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah ... especially since we made him one of the highest paid TEs because we expect him to do just that -
Agreed, but this is a man's life and long term health we're talking about. I would hate to lose him, but he needs to do what is best for himself and his family

I hope the Bills invest heavily into the offensive line this offseason

I never wish to see anyone get hurt ... but he's a jackwagon and I have a hard time working up any sympathy for him

Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.
damj replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd like to say he was never relevant to begin with, but I guess he was once regarded as someone, so we'll just call him a washed up has been. -
I didn't mind the whole vax issue and his public stance on it, I actually agreed with him on it. His comment about him being glad he's not here leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Still, if he can help us win, I'm all for it. Most of us had questions at WR going into the season and some of the moves Beane made didn't work. Let's do what we can to get through the rest of this season, but Beane definitely needs to address WR next offseason.

Jordan is an athlete I respect as a man, not just a player.

So, this guy Allen.. who’d have believed what he would become?

I believe you. I remember meeting his mom when she was 8 months pregnant with Josh and I saw her tummy moved when baby Josh leaped over the placenta.
