Enjoyed it, look forward to future shows. -
Who was the guy Marv loved, that he brought to camp every year and kept him until the final cut. I think he was on the practice squad every year until he was no longer eligible for it. Corey Bender maybe, not sure.

I voted Cribbs, but Robb would have been number 2. I have his autograph on a piece of paper with Reich, Kidd, and Burroughs from when they stopped by my high school to play basketball.

Ferragamo was a big deal, he was on the cover of SI. We sent the Rams our very first pick of the 83 draft (Tony Hunter not Kelly) for him. His very first game i think he threw for over 400 yards, and everyone thought he was our savior, of course he then began to suck.Gale Gilbert I think holds the record for consecutive Super Bowl appearances with 5( four with the Bills, then one with the Chargers). Willie Totten took the job when Jim Zorn turned us down. I remember Marv talking about the game against the Giants with the replacements after LT crossed the picket line. The left tackle has six holding calls against him in the first half and Marv asked him what was going on, the Left Tackle said six holding calls was good because he was holding him every play.

WGR Hosts Scared Of On-Air Confrontation

Analytics do not translate to football as they would baseball. Baseball everything is very similar pitch to pitch. Distance between mound and home plate, home plate and first base, this is all fixed and can get a good gauge of how to play by percentages. Football changes from play to play. Distance, alignment, scheme, even weather plays a bigger deal in football then baseball. It is way more difficult to get a good control set avg. I do think at times it would be useful, like they way Philly used it for deciding on two point conversions, but that is a more fixed play where avg. should play out without a big change. However with player evaluation it is in my humble opinion less then worthless, as there is way to many variables. -

That is exactly what I do. Also catch Murph on msg. I do not wish them ill will, just upset that it used to be awesome, now I can not stand the line up. Also they are the only show in town, so being number one is not much of an accomplishment. -

I trust the people making the decisions until I can not. Year's ago I swore they would be morons for not taking Winston Justice. Turns out the staff at that time was morons, but it had nothing to do with Winston Justice. -

Jaylen Samuels seems like a fit since they like players that play multiple positions and played for 4 years. -

That would make sense as the Dabol connection. Also these guys seem to like bangers, change up from Shady. I was unaware he did not like to run between the tackles. -

I spent time in the Austin Texas, and Louisville Kentucky Markets. I enjoyed both. To be fair, they did have a bigger variety of teams and topics to discuss. -

If I was to guess what they would do I would pick Ian Thomas or Izzo, Avante Maddox, and RJ McIntosh. I have no opinions on it, just think that is where they are going. -

Jeremy White comes across like he truly feels he is better then everyone who is listening. Howard Simon I think has been beaten down by two decades of talking about losing teams. Schopp, used to be amazing to listen to when he did the sports talk for smart people. I would even listen to his hobby show, and I do not even collect cards. Maybe they should bring Brinson back to lighten everyone up a little. Or just get satellite radio and listen to the NFL channel. -

I do not even listen to wgr anymore. I listened to Schopp and Simon since 107.7 days. These guys where just amazing back then, the sports symposium and everything they did. In fairness they have had to discuss Losing teams for a coup!e of decades. Now since J.Bus left I really only enjoy Sal. I feel like I am listening to a bitter divorced person talking about their ex. They are not Sully bad yet, but definate!y trending that way. I mean it's the draft, enjoy what your team has done, don't be the parents that run downstairs Christmas morning and tell the kids that Santa is make believe. -
