  1. Not sure if you have already hung the clock, but I have used these anchors many times and never had a problem. http://www.lowes.com/pd_132770-10337-50525...amp;Ntt=drywall anchor&Ntk=i_products&pl=1&currentURL=/pl__0__s?newSearch=true$Ntt=drywall anchor$y=14$x=32
  2. I went to highschool with her! (at Canandaigua) Don't remember too much about her though.
  3. I'm also a big fan of: http://failblog.org/ http://failbook.com/
  4. A little of topic, but whoever decided to put the annoying buzzer in cars when you don't buckle your seat belt should suffer a slow painfull death! I can't even drive 15 MPH around my block to a friends house without either fastening my seatbelt or being blasted with a loud, obnoxious tone.
  5. I really don't see it happening either, but I applaud Gary Pierce for slapping LA in the face.
  6. Looks like we were posting this at the same time. I love the idea of LA going dark. I bet it gets hot there with no AC.
  7. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/05/19...ayback-boycott/ If Los Angeles wants to boycott Arizona, it had better get used to reading by candlelight. That's the message from a member of Arizona's top government utilities agency, who threw down the gauntlet Tuesday in a letter to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa by threatening to cut off the city's power supply as retribution. Gary Pierce, a commissioner on the five-member Arizona Corporation Commission, wrote the letter in response to the Los Angeles City Council's decision last week to boycott the Grand Canyon State -- in protest of its immigration law -- by suspending official travel there and ending future contracts with state businesses. "I received your message; please receive mine. As a statewide elected member of the Arizona Corporation Commission overseeing Arizona's electric and water utilities, I too am keenly aware of the 'resources and ties' we share with the city of Los Angeles," Pierce wrote. "If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation." This is great. I for one would love to see LA go dark for a while.
  8. I hate ABS brakes. If you are a poor driver, I am sure they can be very helpfull. I do not want the brake pedal pushing back at me. There should be a switch to turn it off like traction control in some cars.
  9. I would think the liability issues would be big. What if you had an emergency and your ignition lock device failed. Would people with asthma or COPD be exempt? I could just see all the running cars in bar parking lots, started before the drinking comenced! Breathalyzers often seem to take many attempts to get successful readings too. I may be in the minority, but I want less electronic crap on my car. I would be extremely upset if a non-essential electronic device malfunctioned and rendered my car useless when I was trying to get to work in the morning.
  10. I am hooked on Justified. Great show that is bridging the gap between Sons Of Anarchy seasons!
  11. I seem to remember reading about several cases of failure due to the gun not fully locking after a shot. The result was not pretty. If I can find any of the articles I will post them. It seems like an interesting gun, but I would not be too confident that I could find ammo if SHTF. A little off topic, but if you have not had the chance to fire a Smith M&P, take a look at one. I traded in my H&K for a M&P.40 compact and later bought a .45 full size. Outstanding ergonomics and accuracy. ar15.com is a great place to get some opinions too.
  12. If I were 21 again, I would go with a fine champagne...Perhaps the champagne of beers...Miller High Life!
  13. The D&C is a sad excuse for a newspaper. Unfortunatley for us Rochestarians, there is no longer a viable alternative paper.
  14. And yet you took the time to post about something you claim to care nothing about?
  15. I always thought that stood for Italian Retard Out Cruising?
  16. This douchebag really changed his vote from Jairus Byrd TO Cushing! How do you possibly justify this move? CHANGED FROM JAIRUS BYRD (2) Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (Brian Cushing)
  17. It is probably petty and unnecessary, but I felt the urge to send Don Banks (voted for Brian Cushing in the re-vote) an email... "I hope you come in second place for some journalism award to a guy who was caught plagerizing their articles. Your vote for a known cheater in the AP DROTY is a joke and an embarrassment. I will no longer waste my time reading your articles and I don't think I am alone in losing much respect for any "sportswriter" that can justify awarding a steroid using cheater with such a prestigious award. At least it was prestigious prior to this fiasco."
  18. Wow! I wonder how the voting journalists would feel if a major journalism award was given to someone who plagerized their articles?
  19. I am a devout memeber of the Church of the Fonz.

  21. 2 whole years huh?
  22. Brothers of a Feather, Live at the Roxy It is the two Robinson brothers from the Black Crowes. A lot of acoustic guitar and one of my all time favorite albums. Not the best song from the album, but I couldn't find the songs I prefer. Any Blind Melon.
