  1. Superbowl Dude sounds like Dwight Adams and that works for me!
  2. I'm fixin to like what he brings to the table
  3. You have to be around the ball to intercept it...... and you have to read the play right to jump to the right receiver. If you ever watch Whitner vs. Byrd, with both at FS, Byrd is much, much closer to the LOS when the play is in action vs Whitner, who is truly playing deep center. That's why Byrd is in position and Donte is always 2 steps late
  4. I'll sign on for that
  5. 2003...... through 2 games the Super Bowl hype was starting, through 10 games the alcoholism kicked in, and by game 16 it was suicide watch
  6. He will be on the plane still wearing shoulder pads with a sign on his locker saying "just keep it"
  7. No link, but it's true.
  8. Denney is retiring after this year, so eliminate him from any conversation.
  9. Are you saying the Schobel and Kelsay have been playing well?
  10. I think the part that always makes me furious is that you could probably call holding on every play along the lines. The thing is, the flags always fly one way. It always seems like once the game is decided, that's when the Patriots start getting flagged that way when you look at the synopsis, the calls don't look that lopsided.
  11. I like rounds 1&2, but I think the interior of the line is set with quality depth if we have Levitre, Wood, Hangartner, Simmons, and Incognito on the roster next year.
  12. I would offer this.... I wanna see what we have in Brohm as much as anyone else. However, with the two tackles we have manning this line, the kid who was battling confidence issues in GB would not gain anything valuable by playing. The interior of the line is solid, but the tackles.... good lord they are just horrid.
  13. I'm glad i'm not a fan of the Bills because this team sucks
  14. I thought Incognito played fairly well, got good push on running plays and worked well on combination blocks in the passing game.
  15. Well, that means Incognito gets to make himself forever immortal to Bills fans by going out for the first time in the Red White and Blue in front of a sold out December crowd and destroy Wilfork
  16. Big, nasty offensive lineman who hates the other team almost as much as he hates losing. Sounds like someone you would want on your side in the trenches. He might not work out, but it's worth a shot.
  17. So say Incognito works out, what does that do to our O-line next year? LT - Levitre LG - Incognito C - Hangartner RG - Wood RT - Butler This is just a guess.......... PS that would be the great white hope line
  18. Guts.... letting a route develop before checking off of it. Guts... seeing your WR singled up and audibling into a play to take advantage of that. Throwing the ball on time to a receiver 20 yards down the field so that they can make a play on it. Maybe Edwards did have too much Jauron in his ear that he would rather flame out with a whimper rather gamble to make some plays.
  19. We've been trying to fill the center position since Hull retired, so I would definetely say its not easy
  20. Dog, I can respect your arguments because you are approaching this from a non-condescending perspective. The biggest problem I see with Edwards is when you have a wideout singled up, that's a pre-snap look. At that point, all he is doing is assessing the defense. Sitting in the stands and seeing Lee or TO singled up to the outside, I get excited. Single safety high, chuck it up to the guy that the safety doesn't roll towards. Edwards never even either A) recognized this single coverage or B) Disregarded it. Those are my biggest issues, his unwillingness to go after plays when they present themselves.
  21. Being at the home games, there were many opportunities where Evans and Owens were singled up, or were just plain open and the ball did not get delivered... and protection was not the issue on those plays
  22. Anything other than Brohm under center is just a replay of what we already know. Edwards doesn't have the guts to play QB in the NFL and Fitzpatrick doesn't have the accuracy.
  23. Maybe this is why Karl Malone abandoned him
  24. Pretty funny stuff.... Buffalo Rooftop Redneck Weather
  25. True..... But vote him in here... http://promo.espn.go.com/espn/contests/budlight09/
