  1. Schopp is like that guy who only has 3 real friends, and all they do is tell inside jokes the whole night and comment with some type of code to eachother about the people around them. Then when someone finally realizes that he was talking about them, Schopp pees on himself and tries to use big words to talk his way out of it. Genuinely intelligent people don't need to try to convince others how smart they really are. As far as how he handles callers. I'm not sure he has the grasp on sports enough to engage informed callers. Someone will comment on how TO wore shiny cleats and he can go on for 7 minutes. Someone calls up to comment on something like Fewell's use of the cover two, wrong defensive alignments, or another intricacy of the game, and he just says, "well ok" and then moves on to the next caller. It's unfortunate because he really is witty, he just despises sports not named tennis or croquet.
  2. I just want to know how the betting line for over/under is at 53. Seems to me like this would be the lock of the year to get in on the over.
  3. Nothing like an epic defeat on the national stage to make you take the plunge and be active here. Welcome!
  4. Fighting for the extra yardage was the only mistake. That shows a complete inability to comprehend the situation at hand. An extra 3 yards in the scheme of things is far outweighed by the risk of fumbling.
  5. Absolutely.......... that was an aspect I haven't seen with this team for a while..... screens have a way of killing a pass rush too
  6. I dunno.... we actually got some borderline personal foul calls to go our way in NE..... restored my faith in the Zebras a little bit

  8. I thought Ellison was a converted safety and coverage was supposed to be his specialty. Isn't the principle of the undersized linebackers supplementing their stoutness with their agility. If he can't cover, and he can't hold the point of attack, I can't think of any more attributes that he should still be strapping it on. I really don't know. The loss of Poz is crippling.
  9. Everyone seems to be overlooking the fact that McKelvin was schooled by Moss all game too. The one double move, Leodis was running deep for 4 more steps after Moss had broken his route off.
  10. Hangartner actually handled Wilfork like a real NFL center is supposed to. Wood and Levitre pulled well on the outside runs and were the reasons we actually had a screen game tonight. I was quite impressed with the overall line play.
  11. Do you give the old man a call? He has stated he still wants to play? No it's not ideal.... but what else is there?
  12. Bringing it out was the right call. When Merriweather hit him, McKelvin.... you go down. You hit the turf at the 25 with 1:58 to play, mission accomplished.

  16. Shanahan: Ok we got a par 5 here, its 260 to carry the water, what do you think Dicky boy? Jauron: Well, i've answered this question the same way whenever its asked, and I believe that you really can't say for sure, but if you give it a good effort, try hard, and you practiced hard yesterday, then you really just never know what you may get. Golf is hard, we all know that, and if yo...... Shanahan: Dick, quit waiting for that other testicle to drop and hand me my driver

  18. Looks like he learned the word "assess" today and challenged himself to use it in multiple sentences.

  23. I'm really not sure I would trust anything that Peters says these days. The guy is as disgruntled as one person could ever be towards the Bills and seems to take every opportunity to trash them.
  24. Sounds like Turks playbook was so thick and complex that they didn't have time to get to the Redzone chapter. It's all so clear now......
