There has to be a way for Mathews to be there at 9 because although I don't dislike Martin I hv a big problem taking him at 9 and if it happens I won't even watch the rest of the draft Drafting Martin would clearly be the Bills drafting for need

Stevie has zero trade value and Lawson prob doesn't have much if any either Hughes at best would bring a 4th round pick but prob not even that

There wasnt anything special on that drive which was helped tremendously by a bad penalty on Carolina otherwise the game would have ended on EJ's 3rd turnover of the game and if this was his best game doesnt it concern you that it came in week 2? Im sure someone will throw out the Jets game at home but again, what did he do that was so good?

He was released within an hour so I can't imagine its DUI since they usually keep you longer then that I'm guessing here but this sounds like unpaid tickets or driving without a license, something dumb like that. The acceptance of mediocrity by the fans on this board amazes me. Making a play here and there doesn't prove to me that EJ can succeed...Thad made some plays here and there, can he also succeed?

What exactly did you see in EJ to make you think he ca succeed? How can you say the defense was stout when they still couldn't stop the run?

You mean if Whaley takes him at 9 I didn't think that really needed to be explained but he is a late riser and as anyone who has paid attention to the draft over the years knows the late risers never live up to where they were drafted. Martin was projected as a second round pick and now may go top ten...like I said I'm concerned especially with the thought of using the ninth pick on the 4th best tackle in the draft

I am always against trading up as I hate giving up high picks. I am also against using a high pick on a CB so I hated the Leodis and Gilmore picks. This team needs another good OT so I am all for taking Mathews at 9 if he is there but I do not want to see them use a top ten pick on the 4th best tackle. My preference for awhile now has been Mathews or Ebron.

The Zack Martin rise has me seriously concerned and I don't like seeing him in the ninth spot even if this is just a ranking I've had Mathews and Ebron at the top of my list for awhile now

I think by just looking at last years draft it was obvious that it was Whaleys draft and Nix was prob already in advisor role. In saying that I believe Manuel was Marrone's call although Whaley obviously had the final say

Both channels used to show the player before the pick but the NFL put a stop to it as it was taking away the suspense. I still watch ESPN but I agree the size of the panel and the numerous locations they are always switching to is really annoying. Just do the draft, that's all fans want. I don't even like the in draft interviews they do with various gms and owners, just do the draft, follow the picks and talk about them.

Since its on a Thursday night and not a Saturday I will be watching from the couch enjoying a few adult beverages.
