Did Rich Eisen start screaming Johnny Manzeil when he was talking about Sam or was he actually able to lay off for a few mins There was one point today where he was complaining about ppl on twitter complaining about how much he talked about Manzeil and he just started screaming and every time someone else tried talking he would just start screaming Manzeil again The coverage was absolutely brutal by both networks this year. First thing I thought when reading that is (no surprise) the Browns drafting has not been good A big key to this trade was not giving up anything else in this years draft except the 9th pick...that was huge IMO I hv no problem giving up next years first in order to get one of the top 3 and prob 2 players in this draft...how often does a team hv the opportunity to do that without finishing with one of worst records in the league?

This makes the Preston Brown pick even more annoying If they drafted brown to start or play a significant amount I wouldn't have a problem with it but with the signing of Spikes who we all want to have a big year and if so get an extension why would you use a high third round pick on a backup insurance policy?

I said before this pick that I'd like to see them get a guard with one of their two fifth round picks and it actually happened

Nix and Marv were way too old school and felt you just stay where you are at most of the time and let things fall where they may Its nice having someone that goes after what he wants and isn't afraid to make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen

Brown is an insurance policy and likely replacement for Fred who as much as we all like is getting up there I did get the impression during the season that Spiller isn't the type of bsck Marrone wants and that he prefers bigger backs. Brown is 6 ft 223 lbs and timed in the 4.4's

I thought for sure Fred was done on 2 or 3 different occasions last year but he kept coming back like Rocky

He also had some nice production and fumbling issues can be resolved Why would you want the pick to be a 4 when if it becomes a 3 Bills keep it and send a 4 th in 2016

Schwartz doesn't run a hybrid defense The difference with Kiko was he was drafted to be an immediate starter but Brown at best will be a backup which they needed but not in third round when there were other players available that would provide more of an impact. And what happens if Spikes plays well and is given an extension? They would hv used a high third round pick on a guy that would never be more then a backup for them

why are ppl always worrying about the cap? the bills dont have cap problems so taking the hit isnt an issue as far as his replacement again, i dont get the concern but odds are his replacement is already on the roster so not like they will be adding anyone new and even if they did it would be at a minimum salary there is also the real money savings from not paying his salary that for some reason ppl ignore when arguing about cap savings worrying about the cap is a complete waste of time
