He was checked for a few things one of which was Lymphoma which has similar symptoms to HIV so im sure they checked him for that too
I don't see how time off prevents injuries like these... It's football injuries are part of the game
Didn't they extend Pears at one point? Isn't he a starter?
They also gave extensions to players that are no longer here like Fitz and George Wilson
So again the Bills have shown they are willing to extend players
And why is that, bc they didn't just give him what he wanted? The Bills hv shown they are willing to extend players
Byrd wants to be the highest paid safety in the league...do you think he's worth that bc I certainly don't and neither do the Bills
I don't see EJ starting week 1 but will be starter by Halloween... Just my opinion
It's been reported numerous times that the Flirida St offense doesn't really prepare players for the. NFL especially QBs so I think its going to take a little time before EJ takes over
I'm sure the fact that their stadium is in flushing and didn't set itself apart from any of the other new stadiums has something to do with this too. The look of Citifield is my least favorite of the new stadiums
The price of going to a game in NY is just ridiculous so that played a part as well. When a guy like Artie Lange who is certainly not Trump but did ok when he was on Stern and still doing stand up has to move his season tickets for the Yanks back 10 rows when the new stadium opened bc of the price increase there is something seriously wrong
After more then a decade of crap I finally like the direction of this team but I am not expecting much this year. They could surprise but realistically speaking we are probably in for another long year
Or maybe Bills players have a little more class and professionalism then cardinals players?
Didn't Kolb help get the Cards off to a good start last year even if his numbers were not good?
That may have been a blanket statement about the overall QB play rather then just Kolb
And does it really matter what another team says about the Bills eventual backup QB?
With the Bills starting yet another rebuild they may not even have to trade up for Clowney
I am for trading Byrd as I don't think he is a good as most do. Good player but not elite
With the way the NFL is trying to squeeze every possible penny out of their product it amazes me they don't offer a service for fans to go back and rewatch games like this especially in the offseason when we are all itching for some football
How great would it be to go back and watch those great seasons again
Bills have more then enough money under the cap so Mario's deal has no effect on signing Byrd long term. I don't get why ppl keep trying to come up with ways to resign Byrd or reasons why they can't.
It appears Byrd wants to be paid like other recently signed safety's but Bills are not willing to go that high
But if I had to choose it would be Mario or a top DE over Byrd or a top safety every time
You make it sound like the Bills have cap issues when in fact they are currently around 20 mil under it
Plenty of cap room so any cuts will simply be that, cuts
I don't get how the Rams and Falcons want or think they need new stadiums again
No reason why they can't get 30 years out of a stadium considering how much they cost
I really don't care where Kolb is ranked on this list since he was signed to be a veteran backup who could and may start a few games which is exactly what you want from your backup
I was more shocked when they resigned him then when I just read they cut him
Remember when most ppl on this board were against cutting Fitz bc Bills didn't hv any other QB on the roster like it was impossible to completely overhaul the position yet that's exactly what the Bills did
I still think Kolb starts week 1 with EJ taking over by mid season
