First of all I said they basically said he was a project
If you bothered to listen to interviews with Marrone one of the first things he mentioned was how EJ was the backup to Ponder and how well he handled it, then said all the usual stuff that he would need to work on but also talked about how at FSU he was only asked to read one side of the field so he will need to learn how to read the entire field in the NFL
Manuel may end up starting towards the end of the year if the bills are out of it but he certainly won't be starting week 1
So you think the Bills are going to start a rookie that everyone including them has said is basically a project and then back him up with an undrafted rookie? WOW
Kolb is going to start and will most if not the entire year. Manuel will be the backup and TJax will be #3 with Tuel potentially on the PS
It is amazing how much crap they feel the need to pack into the draft just to drag every minute out of it they can
The third day is a complete waste as they don't even pay attention to the picks being made
Just do the draft and talk about the picks, that's all anyone wants
You need to reel if in a little here. First off the Bills don't even plan to start EJ this year then consider that the receivers they added are all rookies I'd say your expectations are way too high right now
Only reason he was still here last year was bc he could act as the emergency QB enabling Chan to only carry two QBs
Ridiculously over paid so no reason why he shouldn't be cut
They got an extra second and a 7th while also getting the QB they wanted. I get what ur saying but can't really complain about that outcome especially when it was obvious the Eagles were high on him
Sanchez is not getting cut due to his ridiculous cap hit even if they make it a post June 1st cut
No reason to cut him either, starts the season before giving way to Geno late
Only reason they haven't cut Tebow is bc they don't want to see Pats pick him up
Completely different player then Graham, can't even compare the two
I see Bills using him same way Texas did...end arounds, occasional deep ball with lots of motion teams will have to account for which can create a ton of opportunities
Goodwin is lightning and looks a lot bigger then Graham so I don't think that's a fair comparison
Checkout his highlights especially an end around in the Alamo bowl vs Oregon State where he literally ran by everyone on the field for a long TD
I like this pick better now then when it was announced as I didn't remember who he was
He is a playmaker with a ton of speed
I dont love or hate this pick
he is an athletic big QB with a strong arm which I like
i probably would have hated this pick if they took him at 8 though
