What did YOU Do That Made The Bills Win Today?
H2o replied to Nanker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stuck with my no predictions on the score rule and no message board checking during the game. -
QB Patrick Mahomes suffers patella dislocation (With updates)

Really? Did you see him against Quinton Nelson, the Guard widely considered the best in the game right now? Yeah, probably not. QB's have been getting the ball out quickly against us due to the interior pressure, mostly sparked by Oliver. He hasn't come close to "meet his sack total" by any means. But when he does "meet" his first sack tomorrow, just know Fitz will be the answer to another trivia question some years down the road.

You know this is going to be with him mentally throughout the rest of the year as well if he's only out for a week or two. He will almost certainly have to wear a brace, which will cut down on his mobility, and we'll have to see how he reacts to getting hit. -

Go figure, the Pats even control the "Madden Curse". Skips Brady of course and comes right on back for everyone else. -

Cordy Glenn at Odds With Bengals Over Concussion
H2o replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or maybe he just doesn't want to play for the winless Bengals at this point? I also believe he feels slighted and is acting in this manner due to the fact they were kicking him into LG because of Williams, but when Williams gets injured he is being put back at LT. Some athletes are petty and it's hard to judge what is ego or legit anymore. -

Cordy Glenn at Odds With Bengals Over Concussion

I knew there was something behind the story, but couldn't remember the full details of it. -
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/17/bengals-cordy-glenn-at-odds-over-handling-of-his-concussion/ If I am not mistaken, wasn't he at odds with the Bills as well over his foot injury while here? Either way, they are likely headed for a divorce one way or another most likely.

I've always thought he was grossly underutilized in Miami. The guy has like 4.35 speed and you don't design plays to get him in space? Look at what he did in space to the NE Patriots last year on the final play of that game. I don't think they'll get anything for him really because he's a FA at year's end. I wouldn't mind him in Buffalo as he has ST value as well.

Via the TB12 or the JE11 regimen.

There are multiple things working against the Bengals here. His injury history, his age, and the fact that he is in the final year of his deal.
-
Where is your F5 spirit?
-
The question is, is this in reference to how Green is playing his injury or is it in reference to the assets the Bengals are about to acquire for him?
-
And someone would have to be dumb af to give up two 1st's for AJ.

How has McDermott done with this team so far?
H2o replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gave him an A. He's a good coach whom the players seem to love and rally around. He has built a culture here like no other. Whenever you can get everyone to buy into what it is you are selling then the chance for positive results increases by leaps and bounds. He's a coach who gets his guys to buy in. He does have a lapse here or there with a challenge flag or a timeout or clock management, but he has gotten better in all of those regards since year one. He and Beane have basically built this team from the ground up in three years. They have done an amazing job. Can't wait to see where we are at by year 5. Probably a lurking Jets or Pats fan on the board. -
MMQB's Jonathan Jones: Declining INT Rate in NFL
H2o replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the new rules where you basically get flagged for breathing on a WR it has changed everything. They don't jump routes like they used to due to possible Pass Interference calls, which you never know how that's gonna be called from week to week these days, or getting a hit on a defenseless receiver flag. The DB's aren't taking as many chances. Also, with the QB's being so protected these days, I don't think they get as rattled in the pocket because they aren't taking the hits they used to before. It makes a difference throughout the course of a game.
